Dan Delp was run out of office. Not like Barney Frank, Charles Rangel, et.al., who continually are skirting the law and getting re-elected.

Not me personally, but someone who can relate the challenges I have. It would be nice to elect a person who just had a job last year, working as a nurse, or in construction, or as an electrician. Or a small business owner who has been working to grow a business and can relate to the challenges me and others face. I will probably vote 3rd party or any challenger that can take Platts on.

I gotta say, though, that above all I believe in competition so I am curious to see what all the candidates have to say and will judge from there - just like an educated citizenry should.

I think if the Republican Party were truly competitive they would allow other candidates to challenge Platts - come on - why should we want to have a Rep that thinks serving us is second choice to GAO? That's ridiculous - he needs to be cut loose.
