Wait, House Republicans are still allowed to talk? Huh. There'll probably be a non-binding resolution about that by the end of the week. It should get out of committee by 2013.

Why don't the republicans post their ideas on their website so we as a country can see what their ideas are? Not just health care, but plans about the economy, how to add jobs ect. I would like to see what they have to offer instead of just hearing them whining all of the time.
I may have to send them a block of cheese.

Thanks for the links, I will take a look. I do think it is a stretch to suggest it's a liberal media. The libs do have some media, but by far-the MSM is owned an operated by republicans. Look it up and see who the owners of the media are. I have.

I'll support all their other ideas if only if they include a workable public option.

I don't care which party writes the bill, I just want the public option to compete with the private sector.

The republicans have a viable alternate health plan?? That's odd, they had control for eight years of bush, and did absolutely NOTHING for the working people. Everything these phony blowhards did was self-serving or for big business. Now they have an idea? Yea Right! Everytime I see the minority leader, BONER, spewing his ignorant self-serving rhetoric on TV I want to throw up!

No, you want taxpayers to subsidize a healthcare bill, that is not competition.

Exactly. This is ONLY about control. There would be 111 NEW government bureaucratic agencies created by The Government Takeover Of Healthcare: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/11/02/ra...

Better check your facts again. There was a democratic congress for part of those eight years, and if you think that The Government Takeover Of Healthcare is for "working people" or anyone else besides government itself, you've got an incorrect impression.

The "Public Option" will be subsidized by our tax dollars and the price will be set low enough to drive private insurance out of business. Then, once the government has a monopoly, it will begin to raise taxes and ration care.

Yes, a little more than one of the 8 years. They were elected in fall of 2006 and took office in January of 2007, at which point they started working on healthcare. Bush would have vetoed any healthcare bill they had come up with earlier, isn't that obvious?

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Libra

Someone is shooting from the hip today, making them irascible and all too liable to fly off the handle. Be very wary about provoking them into further outbursts, particularly where the vexed topics of money and sex are concerned. If you're trying to sort out a financial problem you will also be prone to losing your rag and banging your fist on the table. But will that help?
