Denver auditor blasts Seedco's performance

Seedco Financial Services , hired by Denver's Office of Economic Development in 2007 to enhance economic development in low-income areas, has performed so poorly that it is actually hurting the city's ability to lend money to businesses, according to a city auditor's report released on Tuesday.

Another inept city agency. Imagine my surprise? How come they couldn't do this in house instead of hiring a contractor ? Did the Dept Head's nephew need a job?
