I guess the residents spoke loud and clear yesterday. It is time for new ideas, fresh 'blood' as they say. The saddest thing of it is the people that got elected would have never had a chance a few years ago. These have been the trouble makers of the village for years and now they are running it. It goes to show you though how bad the residents wanted those two gone. I lived in Alex for so many years, sorry I couldn't have voted this year because I moved but I would have went along with the crowd though, no other way. The incumbants got what they deserved. They are the main reason the village is such a mess but loved blaming everyone else. They were going to "clean it up" , well there was quite the clean sweep. Hee hee he he.

Oh I agree whatsayi, I can't even imagine the mess things are going to be in. The ones that got in, like you said was because no one else ran against them. They can't keep their own lives straight. It really was a no win situation the ones voted out were crazy and not there for the community but for themselves and now these new ones......
Alexandria will never be out of the headlines.

I agree we are in for a ride for sure. They don't have a clue how to run themselves let alone a Village.Maybe Rich Hammond can at least keep them straight and not let them run over him hopefully.
It's funny no blogging going on ,they are all on Council now and can't cause trouble .
Just set back and watch the fun is about to begin!!!!

What the heck is going on up there? This has to be a complete joke, please tell me it is! These people are not in charge of the village they wouldn't know the law unless it is the ones they broke. Has anyone looked into the records of these people? I will grant you that the two kicked out couldn't run things either but with decent leadership they did okay. I know of one Mayor that got things done, cared about the residents and most everyone liked him. Why did you all tick him off so bad. He was the only one with sense. I am sure with they way you all hung his wife he would never return but you should all be begging him to come back. Only God can help Alexandria now

Don't remember no hangings just a shooting! The real joke is the crap that the past mayors and village clerks have done and no charges has been filed. Water bills that were allowed to run 14 months adding up to thousands of dollars and the administrator/clerk was told by the mayor not to tell council? Isn't any wonder the village is broke. Now thats some leader ship right there! No blogs because the people blogging got elected, please. You don't suppose that maybe the people are sick and tired of paying their tax dollars for stupidity, they have bought a bunch of it for sure, now there is a reality check! You look back at the past 2 years of whats been going on and you could have a hole bunch of new episodes of Jerry Springer! People have just gotten tired of all the crap and nothing getting resolved. When the elected officials don't listen to the tax payers the only way to get their attention is by doing exactly what was just done. This election along with the failed police levy a while back should pretty well put the writing on the wall for those who can read it. As a life long resident of the village I can say through out the years I have never seen anything as lame as whats been going on for the last couple years. Welcome new mayor and council we need you badly! While peoples blogs over the past year about village issues have been some what wild their has been a lot of truth posted!

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Gemini

If you're currently keeping something secret it will really start to prey on your mind today and you'll worry about blurting it out at the wrong moment. It's one of those days in which you're absent-minded and completely wrapped up in your own thoughts. As a result, it will be hard to concentrate on anything else and this won't go down well in certain quarters.
