Which Bill? Bill Emerson WAS a lobbyist who married JoAnn, the lobbyist.Bill "Emerson" ran for and was elected to the House of Representatives. After his death, JoAnn ran for his seat and was elected to the House of Representatives. So, 2 lobbyists married to each other.

Byejoann sure seems to have more of a grudge against Joann then he should if he is a true republican. If he is a true conservative would'nt he be better served putting that hatred towards the democrats? Come November both should be on the same side no matter who wins the primary.

His attitude will not gain bulls**t Bob any votes. Bob's literature looks great and made me want to hear what he has to say. Him being a loose cannon turned me off to voting for him. But radicals like byejoann make me want to support Mrs. Emerson more than ever.

Is Bob Parker in favor of a national sales tax instead of an income tax and if so can he explain why he wants to cut taxes for the rich and increase taxes for the poor?

byejoann, it appears the only reason you are against holly rehder is because she once worked for joann emerson. my guess is you are only siding with josh bill so you will have someone to share your sorrow with the day after both of your primary losses. although your mind should be plenty occupied the following 2 months taking down all of those parker signs.
if you need a joann emerson and holly rehder sign before the general just make a post on here. i am sure someone will bring them to you.

You obviously don't have a clue what I am talking about. Do some research about the fair tax or a consumption tax. It makes the rich pay their fair share and helps the poor. I recommend the fairtax book by Neal Bortz

I could vote for Holly if she had any substance. All I have heard was generic talking points. She won't be tied to Joann after Aug 7th. Might be smart to cozy up to Parker. Don't see the Joann yard signs moving very fast. Maybe Holly should put then out with hers. Can't do that Joann is becoming a bad word around here. The truth shall MAKE you free!

The "fair tax" is regessive. Plain and simple. If you REALLY know Josh Bill and still support him, you are crazier than he is. Big Bob is a teapacker and really isn't FOR anything. He's an empty suit.

I like the idea of not voting for the person with most signs out. I guess that leaves Bob Parker out.

I would have voted for Josh Bill, but I met him, and that is a reason to never vote for him. He is smarter than all of us and he will be more than happy to tell you. And if you don't agree he will argue with you until you do agree.

Parker and Bill are not working together. They actually do not get along. Bill is my choice not Bob Parker's. I am simply saying we do not need another Joann Emerson. I would like to see Rehder and Bill debate so people could see what they are about. I want details not talking points.
Not real hip on having a cable lobbyist as our represenative. At least Mr. Bill knows what he is talking about. Like what was said before personality is fluff. We need someone who will fight for us not put on a dog and pony show. These hand picked politicians are the problem. If we keep putting them in nothing will change.

Joann is not a conservative. Vote for her if you want more debt and your children burdened with it. Vote for Holly if think Joann is a great leader.

Emerson WAS what most rational people would consider a conservative.... until you Tea Packers came along. It is true that she did not always follow the Party line. That's what many, many responsible politicans used to do.

Josh Bill is a BIG Emerson supporter. However, Josh does form his own opinions and marches to his own drum.

All i can say to Byejoann is you must be a member of Josh Bill's family. I have known the man for over 15 years and we get along pretty well. But i nor anyone i know that run in our same circles would ever want that hothead representing us in Jefferson City. Say what you want about Holly Rehder but she can make people listen to what she says rather they agree or not. And she does not leave a conversation with the intent of making others mad at her just to get her point across.

You know she may have been a cable lobbyist for a couple of years but isnt that her business? That is not really being the full fledged "evil lobbyist" you are trying to portray. I think most of us would agree she was just looking out for HER business. But then again i guess that is what Josh Bill is doing, selling property to build a dollar general store where one is not needed or wanted.

BTW definetly NOT an Emerson person. She is and was better than the Sowers guy that ran against her a few years ago though. But she dont act so immature in public, you remember when Parker kept yelling at her thru the parades like a five year old or like, oh i dont know byejoann would?
