More Erie School District employees could soon be out of a job, with the district facing its second multimillion dollar budget deficit in as many years.

Without a wage freeze, the district must still wrestle with a $2 million to $3 million budget gap.
Badams said he will present the board with a few broad plans to help close that remaining deficit today. .......... Salaries $71,092,544 Employee Benefits $ 30,205,329 $101,297,873.00 Wages and benefits Erie City Schools A 3% pay cut would be 3 million dollars |
|
|
Badams' proposal includes cutting 63 jobs and closing three of the district's elementary schools -- Burton, Glenwood and Irving.
.......... union pigs refuse to take cuts as they witness their fellow union brothers and sisters slip into poverty. "I got mine".......... pha-Q |

Well, along with the Marxist union pigs, what about 6 figure Badams ? Let him set the example and take a 10% pay, perk and bennies cut.
What happens when the takers outnumber the providers ? Hehehehe....you're witnessing it right in the Erie School District. |

I don't have kids. I don't get a damn thing from my money forcibly taken from me to give to .gov teachers and schools. Why am I being forced to pay for that which I don't use ? It's outright socialism. I agree with you re: Welfare. But .gov teachers are welfare recipients also. They get their money at the barrel of a gun. Don't pau your property/school taxes and the sheriff will be there, with guns, to take your property. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Emotional support kids are nothing more than job creators for school nannies. What they should do is assign one adult male "father" to each emotional child. Each "emotional father" will give the child a "Boot in the ass" the first sign the child is going to throw an emotional tantrum. That will cure 99.9% of their emotional problems quick and we can send these mamby-wamby emotional nannies packing and looking for a REAL job. |

.......... You are an ignorant azzhole. |
|
Hmmmm, lets see here....I don't have .gov water or sewer. I don't have .gov local cops (who needs cops, they don't prevent anyrhing), I don't have .gov street lights, I don't have .gov garbage, my roads are half dirt and the paved ones are filled with holes. In winter those same roads are half-assed plowed. Oh....and did I mention I don't now or ever had kids in your beloved .gov schools ? So, your answer to me is SOCIALISM and those you call government taking care of your sorry azz, eh ? Based on your reasoning one should give their money to a local retailer and expect nothing in return. Then again, giving one's money as opposed to having one's money TAKEN at the threat of arrest and/or shot by .gov agents are two different things. BTW....your .gov didn't start civilization. Our Lord and G-D created man. Governments have created a criminal enterprise. Which sheeple like you endorse wholeheartedly. Seems to me if one is a leech here, you may want to look in the mirror. |
|
Your information is great. But the morons will continue to enjoy the fleecing they receive from the Marxists in the .gov schools. |
|
Gee, why is it you .gov types always try to compare yourselves to the free market ? What is free for property owners who have their money taken from them at the barrel of a gun ? Sounds like armed robbery to me. Again....you justify your theft by comparing .gov schools to capitalism. Are you a fool or just simply stupid ? |

Hmmmm. Reassessment..... I feel another 10% revenue increase on the way, via the ESD!
