Yes it's the Unions fault. Forget the free loading welfare recipients and the "Non-profit" liars. It's ALL the Unions fault. You know, the economy is based on supply and demand. Prices go up when demand is up and prices go down when supply is abundant. Guess what? The amount of kids in school HASN'T dropped so is there really a recession in this particular sector? NOPE! There are less funds for the school system because the tax base is still dropping. Not because of the Union but rather partially because of the "non-profits" and the welfare sucking pigs! If we're going to assign blame, let's start in the right spot.

I don't have kids. I don't get a damn thing from my money forcibly taken from me to give to .gov teachers and schools. Why am I being forced to pay for that which I don't use ? It's outright socialism. I agree with you re: Welfare. But .gov teachers are welfare recipients also. They get their money at the barrel of a gun. Don't pau your property/school taxes and the sheriff will be there, with guns, to take your property.

I feel that before you ask Unions and workers in general to tighten their belts, cuts should be made in other areas first which I have listed. You wanna know where funding in schools NEEDS to be cut? Emotional support kids are nothing more than job creators for school nannies. What they should do is assign one adult male "father" to each emotional child. Each "emotional father" will give the child a "Boot in the ass" the first sign the child is going to throw an emotional tantrum.That will cure 99.9% of their emotional problems quick and we can send these mamby-wamby emotional nannies packing and looking for a REAL job.

Hmmmm, lets see here....I don't have .gov water or sewer. I don't have .gov local cops (who needs cops, they don't prevent anyrhing), I don't have .gov street lights, I don't have .gov garbage, my roads are half dirt and the paved ones are filled with holes. In winter those same roads are half-assed plowed. Oh....and did I mention I don't now or ever had kids in your beloved .gov schools ?
