Cashman's departure is Tyngsboro's loss

I guess quality professionals are not welcomed in Tyngsborough. How can the Board sit on their hands and do nothing about this situation? They should be on their knees begging her to stay.

Perhaps they will be begging as we ask them all to leave.......... What a joke they are making this town.

it is very uncomfortable watching the meetings. You can cut the tension with a knife.

The entire turmoil on the board of selectmen and the town hall stems from two people--couglin a divisive antagonist and lemoine a micro managing side winder. Remove them both and put level headed focused cooperative professionals in there and we'll be fine and retain our personnel.

Kerry Dion and Rosemary Cashman are good friends. Ms.Dion has no experience in that type of work so, the BOS made the right decision. Good bye Ms. Cashman and Ms Dion.

I have seen dozens of town meetings both in Tyngsborough and in Chelmsford. The Tyngsborough meetings are a joke. No one talks like they are Have any idea as to what is real and what is not. I am ashamed of the town and it's leaders.

This town has always been a joke, you had the townies verses the bownies first. Then you had an administrater personally doing business on the side, on town's time. Finally get someone in there to do the job and the "old townie selectmen/women" are shoowying them away. Get rid of them all. Tyngsborough residents, time to step up to the plate! Town center, who cares, tear Shurfine down and get that church to repaint it. Over and done with it.

DAC you know nothing.....Rosemary Cashman is an example of hard work and dedication. The woman worked on weekends evenings and holidays on town business. How soon it is forgotten the issues left by precious administators. Rosemary brings a professional decor that will never be replaced. After mega hours working and slaving, it is a great thing that she said how she feels. Rosemary, sorry to see you retire. I hope you have a lot of fun with retirement and thank you for a job well done. I'm sorry you were treated with such crassness..you deserve so much better.

If they are friends, I believe it's from working together. I don't think they knew each other before they worked for the town. Kerry has lived in town for years and raised a family here. They are different ages also. It sounds like Kerry proved herself when she stepped in and went over and above and she's being repayed this way. I'm not surprised. The selectmen probably have one of their "cronies" in mind and will have to pay that person twice the salary.

What a disgrace! The towns falling apart and no one seems to care! I feel like playing a banjo every time I watch a town meeting and see the way some of the selectman carry themselves.

The town should consider themselves lucky that Rosemary stayed for this long!!

It looks like the Topix comments of the employees and friends of the Lowell Sun are published in the Sunday Lowell Sun edition.

Sorry Wow, if I didn't get my message across right. I meant they finally got someone in there do to the job right and they just booted her out of town. I'm all for Cashman and Dion and not for the board.

I'm not sure but I think it's about Dr. Bown and his wife, Linda and their group. I know this group is always together and agaist a lot of popular opinion. Someone from this group is usually running for something and loses. Cory Lambert is in the group also.

The board of selectmen will hire a consultant to run the town and pay $100 hourly like the housing did. A waste of public money. Rosemary is a hardworking professional. Sorry, but not surprised, to see her go.

Elizabeth screwed me over on phase one of the sewer project. Now she is screwing over the whole town as selectmen
