New leases on life for First Nations

Opaskwayak Cree Nation has leased land for years. We happily lived on Leased Land for almost 40 years. During pending flood issues they not only did the sandbagging, they removed the sandbags & cleaned up the river bank afterwards. Believe me Aboriginals are just as frustrated as we are about the red tape they need to operate under. OCN has found inovative ways to operate under an antiquated system.
I am proud to live in an area that includes tthe town of The Pas, OCN & RM of Kelsey and hope more of us grasp the concept of the three as one. We are all human beings with similar human traits, lets embrace this and get on with life.
