Pay increases fail to match soaring rents, mortgages

we get a pay rise then the cost of living goes up the government gives in one hand then takes in the other hand

now with power increases the cost of living is ridiculous

..... Pay increases increase all of the costs involved. Therefore all the prices must go up, and because the prices go up there will have to be even more pay increases, and then costs go up some more. And the cycle goes up and up and up.
..... As prices go up, then the value of the currency is decreased, and then it takes more money to buy everything. Up and up it goes!

Slaves in the USA were provided housing and food - they didn't own land but they were looked after.

It's getting that way for alot of people now. The money earnt only allows people to pay rent and food, nothing left over.

We have been turned into slaves.
