Hell, John Edwards has been nailed lying about a mistress and love child/baby (made while his wife is dying of cancer) and he's still in the VP running!! Even Courant refuses to print that story!(Gee why am I not surprised).
Dodd only extorts and manipulates (besides the acceptable lies)so what's the beef?!

This story is not about partisanship to anyone except you. I don't know who I'm voting for in November, but I do know that I am furious at Chris Dodd for his lack of transparency as this mortgage story has unfolded. He seems to think that his constituents are morons. And contrary to what you might think, I don't regard the Senate Banking Committee bigshot being a Friend of Angelo a "snore" at all. It's pure corruption, and I hope Dodd's feet are held to the fire.

Lets REALLY SEE if its a "new day" at the Courant. How about an editorial roundly and sharply ridiculing Dudd for having the balls to say that he did not think this corruption was related to his Chairmanship. How about the HC doing the right thing for a change. You and I roll through a stop sign (at an intersection with no other cars in sight) and we get a ticket/fine. You and I are one day late on paying taxes and we are assessed a fine. Guys like Dudd get to sell their public positions for personal favors and he gets a pass?
