Here’s the truth. The top 1% of wage earners bring home 20% of the total income in this country. Nowhere near the 90% you claim. And they’re paying 37% of the income tax. That’s hardly fair at all.

We all receive the exact same government services. So why is it that you think it’s fair for a small few to pay the vast majority of income taxes while half don’t pay anything at all for it?

Are the prices for any other products or services based on the income of the purchaser? Does a Quarter Pounder at McDonalds cost $150 for the top 1% while the bottom 50% get to eat for free? Or does everyone pay the same amount regardless of how much they earn?

Does a brand new Ford F150 cost $200,000 for Bill Gates, yet are free for millions who earn less than $35,000 per year? Or do both Bill Gates and everyone else pay the same price?

Fair is fair. Charging wildly different amounts for the exact same product or service is exceptionally unfair.

Obama and the Democrats had carte blanche to implement any economic policy they wanted. All of their ideas failed. They don't have a clue how to fix our economy. It's imperative we kick their asses out of office and elect enough conservatives to implement polices that will put us back on the right track.

The economy collapsed because the Republicans rewrote the rules so the PRIVATE secondary mortgage market which allowed fuel run away speculation by selling just mortgages with fraudulent A ratings. Those where the high risk nonconforming mortgages that were being handed out to anybody that could sign his name to a mortgage. Those are the investor class who were selling them.. The one percenterers. Those are the people you want to empower with more deregulation and lower taxes. Exactly what enabled them to screw up the economy the first time.

I heard of the Cash for Clunkers, but am unfamiliar with the African Penis Washing Program or Cowboy Poetry Festivals. Care to elaborate on those?

As I recall Bush was driving head first into an on coming train and showed no signs of stopping. Two wars and Medicare Part D off the books did a really fine job on the economy. The economy was in the crapper way before Obama took office it didn't just go from sunshine and roses to doom in gloom the minute he was sworn in.

If I remember correctly Senator Dodd had one of those Countryside loans. They funneled money to him that way.
