Local waterways getting hurt by the illegal dumping of dirt

This is the same builder RW Hertel & Sons, Inc. who has been under another State Investigation for buuilding substandard, shoddy and MOLD infested homes at the Rancho Obispo Development in San Luis Obispo when will these dishonest and Corrupt builders learn the lesson. I see this also is the same builder who has been sued for construction Fraud and Defects all over California and several in San Luis Obispo County for other defective building and Mold problems from the Mallard Green HOA to Athletic Club of Avila Bay.. it is time he gets arrested and indicted and sent to prison so us honest home buyer can enjoy decent homes and not his Crappy ones.... Go get them Justice Dept....

Nice to see your reporting on the ongoing Wrong doing's of this RW Hertel & Sons, Inc. I have often wondered how long it would be beofre they crossed the line and tried to destory our Rivers and Landscape..I have to inquire as to why has it taken so long knowing this builder has been a poor quality builder for years not only on the Central Coast but in the Sacramento and San Jose area as well his Horrible reputation is well known up here, so I hope you all will see some Justice the whole lot of them Ron Hertel, Robert JS Fowler, Jim Burns, Thomas Habbick and there thug Attorney Adam Morgan Daner of San Luis Obispo have hurt innocent people for far too many years and lied and covered up their below housing codes standards for years..... I appalude the State Fish & Game for enforcing the Law and hope your DA will indict them all... a truly corrupt and dishones company RW Hertel & Sons gives us all a bad taste in our mouths.....

Maybe if the authorities did the right thing long ago we would not be in this mode of destroying our precious environment, why on earth has this Builder from " HELL" be able to get away with his lousy and greedy building below standards for so many years ?
RW Hertel is the same builder who has been sued time and time again all over the State and he never gets the message..You take our Money so build a reputable home we worked hard to buy a home NOT one of your crummy, cheap third world homes. As a owner and member of the Rancho Obispo HOA, I pray that some justice will also come our way we have lived in these water damaged, Leaking roofs, musy walls and massive amounts of Mold for nearly two years.. I noticed the same Bob Fowler in your story this is the same mean man who has lied to us all, threatened many of us with Lawsuits if we are interviewed by the State Contractors Board Investigatiors and who said if we "Talk" Hertel will NOT fix our homes. We have lived under this tyranny dictator for over 1 year now,, if it was not for the the few who have the guts to stand up against Hertel's people we would not be getting new roofs. I noticed this week several homes went up for sale I asked why so many so fast...... answer was the homes are falling apart the the builder is only doing a band aid fix and not doing it according to the codes.. So I do hope the legal people will help those of us who can not afford to get Lawyers in these already expensive homes espically the Lottery low income home owners they are scared of Hertel and some have been intimadated into saying positive things or else ? Hertel's Carrie Steck even asked me if I would say good things about Hertel to the local Paper and a Public Relations Firm they would pay me $$ I can not in good conscience do this. RW Hertel is a terrible, lying company with no Heart for Integrity or ethics.. I hope they go Bankrupt and then go to Jail for destroying the Rivers and Wildlife. I regret buying one of their lousy homes and will never do so again.......

Terra Cotta, Mallard-Green HOA, The Knolls, Athletic Club Avila Bay, Las Lomas, Rancho Obispo, Spanish Oaks, Woodbridge, Arrbors, Williows, Isaly Pointe, etc..........all defective all with Mold and lawsuits against RW Hertel & Sons..so do we see the practice and Pattern now ? I would say so.. hooray for the ongoing probes into Hertel's dishonest and illegal dealings. But WHY is the $64,000.00 question did it take a few owners to stand firm for honesty and integrity to EXPOSE Herel. Where were the officials hired to protect us the Consumers ? against such deplorable unethical and illegal corrupt builder like RW Hertel ? I do hope Fish and Game and the CSLB, and now the Justice Department all put them in Jail........bye bye Hertel you can run to Patterson, CA but you can NOT hide from the long arm of the Law and truth......

Glad to hear someone is watching our environment too bad the builder has to be so dishonest I called County they admitted Hertel Lied on the permits on the dirt removal. So why would they tell us anything truthful now ? I for one would never believe anything they say, if you did a lexis-Nexis or google check they have a State Wide history of wrong doing and then trying to bully people into submission.

Since this Hertel builder is still under a Probe for wrong doing why do people even think of buying any of his defective homes especailly with known MOLD that can hurt you ? I am told several Criminal Investigations are still on going into his activities from Gambling, Defective building, Fraud, Enviromental Crimes,Threats, Perjury etc.. no wonder he can not sell homes once you buy one and discover it is defective if you file a customer service repair complaint against him he turns and silence you and files a lawsuit against you so No way would anyone in the right buy any of his homes.

We are flat broke and the HOA is being drained of our Monies $$ by this inept Board of Jim Pappas, Nancy SWellman and Claire Torbeck who have ripped off our money. Look at the report in todays mail we are broke and our fees will have to increase our insurance has been cancelled leaks and mold still exist the HOA Board has allowed us to be sued and we are in deep trouble loosing value all because of this crooked Board. We need to have a Criminal Investigation into the HOA and where all our money is going ?

I had a Hertel home in The Arbors they are still leaking and have Mold that is why they are being sued.. all there projects were buuilt with Dope Money and employee's who used drugs and drink on the job this week they had to re-do the property line at 1771 Singletree Ct. the home Hertel had to buy back due to mold and the fence has been on the wrong property for three years until now so all the homes are crap look at Rancho Obispo all 53 New homes getting roofs again due to MOLD and Leaks

No surpries, Hertel has a long shoddy History of Low Standard building and then hiding behind his Lawyers or blames the problems on the Sub's mostly Illegal Aliens the Buck stops with the builder. As Money Magazine recently said when it comes to New homes hire a inspector and contractor yourself and have the home inspected while being built to keep the builder in check... if the builder says NO then you know something is wrong and I would NOT buy from them.. As has been now made public RW Hertel sues his own buyers if they find defects in his homes ? go figure ! Buy a defective Hertel home and then get sued for buying a defective home from Him...

Now RW HERTEL is going to Oregon, doing THE INN AR EAGLE POINT, another Hertel problem in the making no doubt................defects, mold, leaks homes falling apart..
