What the lunatic gun grabbers fail to understand is that the same people who commit no crimes outside of a park will not become a raving murderer as soon as he crosses into the park. It makes me wonder, why do they believe that the law abiding should be forced to give up their protection simply because they crossed an imaginary line on the ground? Criminals don't care. Criminals will be criminals regardless of where they are.

A BIG part of the problem is the way the media has portrayed this. Every single media announcement I've heard, even on Fox, says that "you," or "people" will now be able to carry in the national parks. NOBODY is reporting the truth, i.e. that ONLY those licensed to carry IN THAT STATE (even with reciprical agreements, about 10% of the US) will be able to exercise that right. Nobody else will be allowed to, and would be just as illegal doing it then as they would be now. We're talking about a small percentage of people, but the media plays it up like everyone will be allowed to do so!

Your chances of being raped, robbed or murdered in the parks increases if you are not armed.

When a person so eloquently and thoroughly defends slavery as justifiable, would you still consider it ? Would you need your own personal choice of effective words to oppose it, or would you only require your intuition to know that no matter what any person says, you know it's wrong and there can be no justification for it (no matter how eloquent and thorough the justification was).

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Virgo

If you've got an important task to accomplish, this is the time to do it. A Libra Moon ensures that you're level headed, focused and unmoved by the behaviour of others for the next day or so. Don't put any undue pressure on yourself, Virgo: if you don't get it right the first time, you know there'll be another chance. The pessimistic people that you are likely to encounter today need your logic and positive input.
