Judge it!
I happened to see this article in the Palo Alto Daily News. I am a childhood friend of Mr. Demeter and have kept in touch through all these years. I was shocked to read the account of the incident. I believe that my friend, Bela, is not accountable for his actions because of severe depression at losing his wife of over 40 years in a terrible way from cancer. Bela speaks 5 languages and was the librarian at Stanford University. He also has a son, Dietmar Demeter, living somewhere in Silicon Valley. I believe that Bela needs psychiatric help and not in a criminal court.

Antique store owner pleads not guilty to groping charges
A trial date was set Tuesday for an 87-year-old Menlo Park antique store owner accused of molesting a young girl in his store in July.
