Thug in peace????? Now that he is dead!?? Why could you not live in peace alive? Your just as stupid MIDandMENLO and we will be commenting on your death soon too for your positive support of this socalled THUG , He was a lil PUS being in a gang , carry guns , running from cops through neighborhoods filled with little kids over rooftops. WHy dont the parents step up and take their kids back from these streets and the cops step up and take the streets back from the garbage. they dont own it. We as a community do. Not these gangs, They just a Gang becuase the cant be a leader , they ahve to be a group to do something because they are so WEAK and STUPID to be an individual

So you're a gang member too since you're claiming the ''G''? According to the article that makes you a gang member if you claim where you are from these days. EPA is so small and divided by several sections but those a mini hoods within the city not gangs!!Yes, there's individual that take claiming their area to another level but that's a handful of people. It's made out to be on the level of Bloods & Crips and that's not a fair assessment. I'm from Menlo and I can go anywhere in EPA with no problems but if I was from a Blood hood and going to a Crip hood that couldn't happen no matter what so there is a difference people.

Wow there has been some rather unintelligent responses on here...according to the report he was an alleged gang member...to be honest the Village and G-Town are not gangs. Those are the areas that these people reside in and or may claim to be from...it's no different from being from Milbrae and saying, I'm from Milbrae does that mean you're a gang member because you claim your hometown...yes the victims had some brushes with the law during his short lifetime...remember that life is too short people........ we can sit here and point fingers all day and say who's right and what's wrong and what he should've been doing in life but everyone isn't dealt the same hand of cards and you have to make due with you got in life. If the victim made some mistakes and bad choices in life so be it but it sounds as if he was trying to straighten out his life but Karma is real...let's please allow this family to grieve and put this young man to rest. It'a obvious that his friends and family is reading this site and it on makes things worse for them. No one is perfect so lets stop passing judgement. The reality is that although I didn't hang with this young man I know people who love him dearly and everytime I saw him...he was always smiling and being very respectful, so I can only reflect and talk about the young man I knew. So, unless you have proof that he was a gang member and bad person and you're willing to reveal your identity and stand by your words please stop the negative comments.R.I.P John Leonard

Keep it 500 huned huh? As in 500 Block Sacramento Street, or did were the police not able to change that street name after one of your homies killed a cop not too long ago. You know what time it is? DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS? Nothing goes without notice, ever, there is all pwerful Being that sees it all. Wanna be a thug? That is one thing, but when associates go around shooting cops, you know things have to go hell in a hand basket. Midtown is ALWAYS mentioned in articles as known gang area, wonder why Sac Street hasn't been mentioned much since that cop was killed. Go somewhere with all that mess, better yet, stay right where you are, thinking exactly what you are thinking. It will all find its way back to you soon enough, just like you said it did to John. YOU ARE NOT INVINCIBLE!

I'm not sure who this kid was but it's a shame another black man is dead on our streets. Can we Live.In.Peace and stop this disease of violence that has infected our community. We must stand up and take back our city where 75% of our budget goes to the police department but only a small % goes to stop or prevent the violence.

Time for change people. Get out and vote Nov 11th!

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Virgo

If the past few days have been a blur of cooking, washing up and wrapping paper, take a break today and catch up with loved ones. Have a long talk with one of them so you can find out what they've been doing lately, or discuss a topic that concerns both of you. Right now, you're blessed with plenty of diplomacy so the conversation should go well.
