This trial is a waste of time. The guy was full of drugs and there's no telling what he was going to do. A similar situation happened when Terry Farmer was the DA. He did the right thing in not prosecuting the homeowner. All this trial serves to justify is for people are allowed in anger to harassas and intimidate people on their own property. If you have a legtitimate beef call the police. If you don't go pound sand. Save all of us law-abiding taxpayers the wasting of our tax dollars by Gallegos.

I can't believe that the media has repeatedly, every time they report this story, stated that Steed was under the influence but somehow left out the part that Dowdy also was? I don't think there is any justification for shooting him, he was in his yard, he should have gone back inside the house and locked it up, or called out to his neighbors.

what does this have to do with hunting? Other than the man loaded his "hunting" rifle, there is nothing here concerning hunting.
Please post this stuff where it belongs.

I guess the very few defenders of Tom who said he hadn't done any drugs must be feeling pretty stupid about now. Pot, pain killers and beer! What a combination!

Let me get this straight ….
Tweaker 1 steals firewood from Tweaker 2.
Tweaker 2 harrasses Tweaker 1 by messing with his vehicles; and has son (Jr.Tweaker 2) pepper spray Tweaker 1.
Tweaker 2 gets blasted on meth and booze and goes to Tweaker 1’s house on Christmas Eve and threatens to kill him.
Teaker 1 is blasted on pot, pain killers and beer; and shoots Tweaker 2 to death.
Tweaker 2’s son (Jr.Tweaker 2) runs over Tweaker 1 with (dead) Tweaker 2’s pickup truck …on Christmas Eve…
Tweaker 1 is on trial for murder of Tweaker 2.
What happened to Jr.Tweaker 2? Was he ever charged with assault?
Kids … this is your brain on meth ….
