Girl Scouts Reach Out to Today's Girls

I would like to see a similar effort to modernize the boy scouts as well. They are way too stuck in the past.

It's about time the Girl Scouts revamped their image. They do so much for the community and really learn leadership skills. And you can't forget the cookies.

Updating merit badges is a great thing, but the GS have done way more than this. The leadership has admitted a "partnership" with planned parenthood and just a few years ago gave an award to PP's president. Of all the good things that the GS could be doing, why on earth would they take a pro-abortion stance? Just this year, a Gallup poll showed over 51% of the people in this country identify themselves as "pro-life." 86% of the population describes abortion as immoral. Why the GS chose to take such an extremist turn is a mystery, but no wonder myself and many others do not want our daughters to have anything to do with the GS anymore.
