Loved hiking in the Badlands. Family does National Park every year. Did the Badlands years ago and kids still talk about it. This last year was Canyonlands and Arches both very nice. Looking to do Grand Canyon next year can anyone recommend how Grand Canyon West is?

I've done the G Cany west area. Not sure when you plan to go, but plan your water carefully. The Colorado is always there, but many other H2O sources are seasonal. Go late fall to early spring. Hot as all heck otherwise. Go light.
