Bowfishing ban for county fishing spots may become trend in Forida

Could these bans be a trend for other parks and fishing areas?

It is possible that this banning issue will become a trend that will affect all county parks in Polk and eventually be a spearhead program for other counties in Florida to follow. If you bowfish in a county park somewhere in Florida there is a good chance it will be a thing of the past. Call the Polk County Commission and Park Services and let them know you don’t want this to happen. And it also not to be a model for other Florida counties to follow!

JFYI: There is NO, repeat NO COUNTY ordinance on the books at this time and it is now 2007.

I am 74 years old and have a bunch of recurve experience. How good does a Xbow work with bow reeling for fish ??? I live in Fl. and we have a bunch of big mullet in the canals. I love smoked mullet.
