Giant swells draw a crowd to Santa Cruz's Steamer Lane for O'Ne...

Full story: Santa Cruz Sentinel

Peeking out from beneath the baby blue ball cap shading his head from the brilliant sunshine, 4-month-old Mason Morgan gazed at the restless waves so familiar to his dad.

Hey Senile.... You post a story about giant swells and the pics are of people supposedly looking at the swells? You all need to go back to Journalism 101 class.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH POSTING PICTURES OF THE SWELLS????

MORONS!!!

Big waves, but I only saw them surfing further down in the scum. Too bad, major disappointment for us and our out of town friends. Where are the big wave surfers when you need them?

Donny B is RIGHT ON!
Giant waves, but no reason to show them to you. Not even one. The Sentinel is clueless.

They didn't have any guns in their quivers...That would have been a cold water to remember if they moved out to Middle Peak.

I think its funny that the story "Crowds gather to observe BIG waves" doesn't even have pictures of the "big waves" instead has 2 pics of the "crowd". I clicked on this story because I was interested in "very big waves" not because a group of people were standing on the pier. I can't be alone in this train of thought.

The waves are much bigger at Mavericks. The Channel 2 news had some good surfing footage on Saturday night and not much footage of gawking spectators.

well my son and I lucas tore it up all day Saturday in huge waves. For an 11 yr old it opened up his eyes at Indictaors all day till 7pm. When nice by standers shined a flash light on the steps to allow us up with the few other die hards that just could not get enough.Thats what ya need to do santa cruz with your sons, surf all day no time for hanging out downtown getting in trouble. Good old fashioned family time. Try it some of you gangbanger families.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aries

Someone wants to go their own way today and they won't care whose feathers they ruffle in the process. It's a lunar eclipse at the Full Moon in Cancer, so let them get on with it. The last thing you should do now is to hang on to their coat-tails or do anything else that will make them feel restricted. Make it plain that you've got your own fish to fry, thank you very much. And try not to let it stop you enjoying yourself. Have a great night!
