This was a remarkable victory to say the least and not to deny Andy his day, he had much going in his favour other than pure tennis skill. Federer was still coming down off a massive high ie 7 Wimbledon titles equalling Samprass, retaining the no.1 spot and his first major in 2.5 years. He deserved it as he has been almost unbeatable this last year since losing in last years US open. Federer has struggled through the Olympics early rounds which is totally understandable given Wimbledon success. After Del Potro he resigned to losing against Andy. Having said that how Andy has come back to represent the nation after such a devastating loss is also equally remarkable. What he needs to do now is make sure he does the same at all the Grand Slams. The US open will be a defining point for Andy. I think Federer will be difficult to beat at the Open.

This was a poor analysis of Andy's victory. You are denying Andy his day saying that Andy won cause of Federers'hard win at Wimbleddon and his struggles at trying to retain the number 1 spot. Andy won, end of story, don't make excuses for him cause Fed would not have the same opinion as you

Look Andy played superbly well but if we are honest to win the way he did ie staights sets over Federer when no-one has ever managed that before, leaves one wondering on the condition of Federer. If you can't recognise that, purely from an analytical view and putting aside Andy's day at the Olympics, then I doubt whether you understood my initial comments.
I didn't mention at all Federers struggles at Wimbledon, when he breezed through his 7 matches except Benneteau of course to win; I was referring to his struggles at the Olympics. I suggest you read my post again.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Capricorn

Don't take any risks when handling your finances today, because there are strange things going on. Someone may not be as straightforward and honest as usual, or can't explain themselves properly, which leads to misunderstandings and false assumptions. If you're spending money, make sure you're charged the right price and given the correct change. And don't let your wallet or purse out of your sight, in case you mislay it or someone nabs it.
