The end of the world came as Harold Camping predicted it would -- a very subtle apocalypse that many on the planet failed to notice.

The Witnesses predicted the end of the world in 1874? Really? Well that is pretty amazing to Teary, considering that they DIDN'T EVEN EXIST in 1874.
The 1918, 1920 and 1941 dates are pretty big stretches as well.
Russell and Rutherford both believed that Jesus returned in 1874. You are the one who says he has some 1000 magazines and books of the WTS. Try reading them and you might start with the Proclaimers book Page 46 and you'll see his belief of 1874.

There will always be people who feel they are obligated to be authorities on subject they know very little about, but are passionate in their hatred and thus compelled to speak out.

Hatred for Jehovah's visible earthly organization in any way, whether for witnesses or for the preaching work is influenced by Satan the Devil.

Being used by Satan as a mouth-piece makes you no different than a snake. Some people love snakes.

A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

Thus says The Lord God: I am come in the power of My strength! In the righteousness of My anger, I am come down! I am come to destroy and to take vengeance upon My enemies!

My wrath shall be poured down like a flooding rain upon the mountains!
And the heat of My countenance shall melt the hills!...

Behold! The rivers of the valleys run dry at My presence!

And still the people say,“There is no God in Israel”... Behold, the enemies of The Lord gather! They gather and set themselves in battle array! They gather together to destroy MY nation! They seek to break apart the covenant!... Lo, the cleverest among them devise plans, and the most knowledgeable forge weapons of war...

YET THE BANNER OF THE LORD IS RISEN UP! THE MIGHT OF THE HOLY ONE IS LIFTED HIGH! I am poised in My strength, and My face is set to defend! And when I strike, who shall withstand My assault?! Who shall be left, when the hand of The Almighty comes down upon them?! For My hand is swifter than an eagle! The strength of My arm has crushed leviathan, and I shall not withhold!
The word of My mouth breaks apart the mountains!... Whole ranges of mountains bow down when I pass by!... Look how the earth trembles at My nearness and shakes beneath My footsteps! My eyes are flames of fire! My tears fall and scorch the earth!

The whole world is set ablaze
At the outward glance of The Almighty,
In His hot displeasure!...

A cleansing fire, a purifying flame, of which none shall quench!...

THE FIRE IS KINDLED!

We do not predict the end of the world. Never have.
Mythbusters wrote:
2. Jehovah's Witnesses
Perhaps the group most famous for having failed doomsday predictions are the Jehovah's Witnesses, mainly because they've predicted so many end of the world days and still kept on going. Founded by a follower of William Miller, the Jehovah's Witnesses have set the end of the world for 1874, 1914, 1918, 1920, 1925 and 1941, and all passed without the return of the Son of God. Of course the Jehovah's Witnesses weren't fazed by their repeated failures and simply attributed it to an invisible return of Jesus. Perhaps the most notorious instant of their doomsday scenario was their 1975 end of the world, which saw members selling their homes and quitting their jobs. The fallout when that end of the world didn't happen was disastrous to the church which saw massive amounts of followers leaving.

<quoted text>
Wt, 1/15/1959, pg 40, 41Whom has God actually used as his prophet?...Jehovah’s Witnesses are deeply grateful today that the plain facts show that God has been pleased to use them.
Wt, 4/1/1972, pg 197Who is this prophet?..Today they are known as Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Wt, 10/1/1982, pg 27...“prophet” class yet on earth. The “war of the great day of God the Almighty” at Har-Magedon could not start before this composite “prophet” ends his work.
Aw, 6/8/1986, pg 9,...all of whom are prophets, or witnesses for God. In fact, they are known throughout the world as Jehovah’s Witnesses.

They predicted the following dates as the battle of Armageddon.

1.Zion’s Wt, 1/15/1892, pg 1355, reprint...“battle” is definitely marked in Scripture as October, 1914.
2.The Time is at Hand, 1908, pg 101...the “battle of the great day of God Almighty”(Rev.16:14) which will end in A.D. 1914, with the complete overthrow of earth’s present rulership, is already commenced.
3.The Finished Mystery, 1917, pg 398, 399, 485...the people who are the strength of Christendom shall be cut off in the brief but terribly eventful period beginning in 1918 A.D. A third part are “burned with fire in the mist of the city.”.....After 1918 the people supporting churchianity will cease to be its, supporters, be destroyed as adherents,...Also in the year 1918, when God destroys the churches wholesale and the church members by the millions....
4.Millions now Living Will Never Die, 1920, pg. 89, 90Therefore we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old...."
5.Vindication 1, 1931, pg 146, 338, 339...years 1914,1918 and 1925 ..... they also learned to quit fixing dates for the future and predicting what would come to pass on certain dates....
6.Informant, May 1940The year 1940 is certain to be the most important year yet because Armageddon is very near.
7.Wt, 9/15/1941, pg 288...in the remaining months before Armageddon.
8.Wt, 5/1/1968, pg 273Chart of dates 1975 end of 6th 1000-year day...2975 end of 7th 1000-year day....
9.Aw, 1/22/1969, pg 16Other Bible prophecies clearly foretell God’s purpose to bring this wicked system to an end in a few years.
10.Aw, 5/22/1969, pg 15If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things......all evidence in fulfillment of Bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years.....as a young person you will never fulfill any career that this system offers. If you are in high school and thinking about a college education, it means at least four, perhaps even six or eight more years to graduate into a specialized career. But where will this system of things be by that time? It will be well on the way toward its finish, if not actually gone!
11.Wt, 10/15/1969, pg 622, 623...seventh millennium from man’s creation by Jehovah God would begin in less than ten years.
12.The Nations Shall Know That I Am Jehovah, 1971, pg 216Shortly, within our twentieth century, the "battle in the day if Jehovah" will begin against modern antitype of Jerusalem, Christendom.
13.Wt, 1/1/1989, pg 12 The apostle Paul was spearheading the Christian missionary activity. He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century.(This quote was later changed in the WT bound volume to: He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our day.)
14.In 2010 the generation of 1914 that would not pass away has changed to overlapping generations. See Item I

How absolutely clueless and foolish you look Nomi, when you deny what the WTS has put into print for all to see.

For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

Thus says The Lord: The light has gone out of the churches of men! Therefore I, even I, have removed all candlesticks from their places, and shall not return them again until the time is fulfilled, when all these men in authority humble themselves and seek MY face and MY glory... And turn from the glory of men.

Thus the veil is not yet lifted. For even these who turn to Me do disobey even all I have given them... A great stifling of My Spirit... Refusing to be led by faith and in trust, embracing rather all doctrine borne of men and the harlot, from whom all abominations were conceived and passed down, says The Lord.

No church of men shall stand in the Day of The Lord!...

For The True Church and Bride shall be taken,

According to the truth her heart reveals...

Yes, all those in whom I see of Myself.

And of these who do continually resist My word, who do pervert their way among many witnesses, they shall in no wise escape, but shall bring Me glory in the Day of The Lord, which comes very quickly... For behold! The hand of The Lord God is upon the multitude and shall not be moved, and many sons and daughters shall come into glory by great tribulation! A great city shall be built up in the midst of many sorrows... Yet in Heaven, great rejoicing!... A city, a city! A city, called Martyrdom! Says The Lord of Hosts.

Therefore, hear and understand the will of The Most High God, who reigns high above the heavens: The wheat shall be gathered, and taken into the bosom of The Prince! Yet the multitude shall be left in the Refiner’s fire... For by no other means shall these, even many of these called by The Christ’s own name, come into glory as My everlasting treasure.

It shall be done, it shall surely be;

The Lord has spoken and it shall be done,

Even in one week...

I shall bring forth the truly converted of heart,

Humble and penitent, from all the earth!...

You shall surely behold the angels of Heaven

Ascending and descending upon

The Son of Man, Your Redeemer...

GIVE HIM ALL GLORY!

For the first harvest shall be lowly, of the lowly,

And the second plenteous, beyond the numbering of a man.

*** w74 8/15 p. 507 No Spiritual “Energy Crisis” for Discreet Ones ***

Christ’s presence was thought to have begun in October 1874, at the start of the great antitypical Jubilee.—Lev. chap. 25; Rev. 20:4.

From that understanding, it was thought that the “chaste virgin” class began going forth to meet the Bridegroom in 1874.(2 Cor. 11:2) Hence, when C. T. Russell began publishing a new religious magazine in July 1879, it was called “Zion’s Watch Tower and Herald of Christ’s Presence.” It was heralding Christ’s presence as having begun in 1874. This invisible presence was expected to continue until the Gentile Times ended in 1914, when the Gentile nations would be destroyed and the remnant of the “chaste virgin” class would be glorified with their Bridegroom in heaven by death and resurrection to live in the spirit.
