Unless he's served life in prison, no. He should get a hell of a lot more time to serve. Preferably in the general population of the state's toughest pen.

The jury convicted him of the wrong crime. He's a cold-blooded murderer whose crocodile tears the jury bought - a jury with no black members, incidentally.

Any crimes by the victim's father have nothing to do with the crime of which HE was the victim. Duh.

what about the 100 plus murders that happen every year will, what about the scumbag who killed 3 cops last year will... where are the riots for them? the welfare class of Oakland will all be dealt with one way or another, Oscar was already in jail twice and carried a gun. I am glad the POS is dead because our streets are a little safer now but the cop was wrong for killing him though. I think we should execute all of the ghetto trash for the crimes they commit... lets not just pick on the people that work for a living - and stop putting them in jail - it costs to much money to feed these scum.

Did you watch the video when the victim was shot? It was no "accident".

The victim was handcuffed with his back to the officer when the officer reached down, took out his gun, aimed, and shot him in the back execution-style. The video tells all.

Handcuffed, face down in the concrete, unarmed then your shot in the back. That is execution-style.

Getting back to the question asked at the top...Yes, he should recieved time served. Mainly, well, because he served it. He has much bigger issues to worry about though.

...why should he get any jail time...if I would have listened to him...and not resisted arrest I wouldn't b dead...it ain't his fault...he was just doin his job...evrybody is always quik to blame the police...

...HELL NO...if the system gives him any type of jail time for doin his job...then this system really is F'D up...a criminal has to choices when he gets caught...listen to the officer...or resist arrest and get shot...simple as that...
