He is charismatic and on the whole does not try and win you over with his dry humour. he is not maoricentric nor gaycentric while on tv so i dont understand why you had to have such a cheapshot, i suppose its to make you feel better about yourself? I could comment on how darren mc donald was a druggie and he was kiwi and did not hold himself professionally while presenting himself to the nation but really, it does nothing for me. Tamati is an all round good guy, i can admit i did not know he was gay until the announcement of his wedding and his wedding was the gayest wedding anyone could ever think of a pink hall with chandeliers, and drag queens and two grooms on the wedding cake (known as tim and tam- short for tamati) what is your problem with gays? are you a guy?

All Tamati needs to complete the package is a limp. Part Maori, gay, bland and boring, he is a near perfect example of the pc liberal, white guilt appeasing insanity NZ is descending in to.

Paul henry sounds like a good idea, however laws might scare off little children i think it might suffocate laws to host a show which is terribly opposite to what he likes doing. you realize this role is to introduce people in... and usher people out? thats it really.. i like paul henry because he will make a quick cheeky and will have you thinking"what did you just say?" remark whereas laws dwells on it which is his politician counter approach. paul henry no longer on breakfast is just plain boring!! him and pippa balanced each other out, she was nice and charming and he was the devils advocate...sometimes yes for paul henry not so much for laws. laws is to michaelcentric for me IMO and will not be able to separate himself from that concept while hosting an entertainment show for all ages..

Yes you're right Laws may not be the ideal host for such a show. Would you agree Tamati Coffee is a token part Maori, lacking in personality, humour and intelligence and most of the attributes that until recently defined humans from all other organisms? and wouldn't you find it patronising as a Maori seeing these 'pet Maoris' being paraded around just to sait the guilt of white liberals, to give them that warm, fuzzy feeling?

I'd have Paul Henry too but he'd want too much.
I'll have David Fane, or Tofiga off laughing Samoan's, he could even perform Elvis every once and a while, what about Glenn Osbourne? Te Arahi? Host of Homai te paki? or if you want someone abit more classy but still funny get that girl host off U Live, or Jermaine from c4 he was so funny, or both of them.
There's actually alot of guys i'd have before i choose a guy who will try to make gay seem the norm.
