No, I dont like what they've done with the forwards. I dont see how Naslund, Pissmiller, Varos & Zherdev and better than Jagr, Avery, Straka and Shanny. Lets not forget signing a 31 year old Dman on the decline for 6 years @ 6.5 million, as well as injury prone, Kalinen.

I must have missed when these players won the cup. your analogy is meaningless. Inginla went to the finals one year and is stuck in a small market. Nash, Kovalchuck and Ovechkin have never been on true contending teams. Put Ovechkin on the Rangers last year and you never know what might have been.

I really don't know what you're arguing about. If you don't believe a team needs a goal scoring star to win a cup then it's useless having a discussion with you. I still don't understand your point of bringing up those four players who haven't won a cup. By the way don't compare Ovechkin to those other players. He's probably the best player in the league.
