The defense has acknowledged in court and on its website that Zimmerman should have declared the added funds.

"The audio recordings of Mr. Zimmerman's phone conversations while in jail make it clear that Mr. Zimmerman knew a significant sum had been raised by his original fund-raising website," lawyers wrote on the official defense website. "We feel the failure to disclose these funds was caused by fear, mistrust, and confusion. The gravity of this mistake has been distinctly illustrated, and Mr. Zimmerman understands that this mistake has undermined his credibility, which he will have to work to repair."

The money that was donated to Zimmerman was for his defense attorney, not for bail bond. If that money was included in his bond and he taken flight that would not only make him guilty but a fraud to the public that believes in him. This is just a witch-hunt for you whiny liberal douche bags by the incompetent DA and the lacking ability of a jackxxx of a Judge.

I choose zimmerman bwecaus of the way media has skewed he story. First meda needs to show recent travon picture and not his childhood pictures. Second lets compare arrest records of zimmerman and travon. Third, media keeeps racism alive by making every issue about recism. Lastly all these so called witnesses that didnt see anything, cant be witnesses.
Bottom line, Travon was a thug and criminal and tought he was tough and could hassle people not only in his ghetto neighberood but also at upscale neibherhood where his mom lives, Unfortunatelly for little punk, Zimmerman defended himself.

I am a black woman who hate black men, they all have AIDS and STDs, and I hope Zimmermen gets off and sue that whole state and Martin's family for millons. Martin deserved what he got, he is nothing but a poor, thug, welfare who would have ended up dead anyways or in prison, so Zimmermen did him a favor. And by the way, I am working on my MD degree, have my own house and car, my kids go to private school and I live in a gated community, just to let you know.

Hi guys, im the creator of this forum, and i R3ALLY wanna know who's side your on, and why.
I have seen lots of forums about G. Zimmerman and Trevon Martin, and some people think that Zimmerman did the right thing by killing a such child, but others are against it... What do YOU think? And why?
((*<3BABY QU33N*<3))^.^
That teen was not a "child", he was over 6 feet tall & beating the living crap out of Zimmerman, to the point he could have easily died if Martin kept beating him!
I say Good for him he defended himself & killed that brute!

But Obama wants to keep making everything a Race Issue & I suspect Zimmerman might be Jewish too, which is WHY Obama's been talking dirt about Zimmerman.

I assume you have some people in your life that love and/or depend on you (if not, that's pretty sad). Ask their opinion of what they hope you would do if you were in Mr. Zimmerman's position, on the ground being beaten by a thug and facing imminent grievous bodily harm or possibly death.

I doubt they will agree with your rather naive view.

Well being he stalked Trayvon and most likely scared the guy of course that is what ensued. Are you saying Trayvon didn't have a right to defend himself from the burly guy following him? Was he to just know George was a sweet guy simply protecting his neighborhood?

Me thinks it is you who is naive sir. I have been on the ground with a thug on top of me, I screamed and ran.

Facts not in evidence. You're just making that sh!t up.

a) Mr. Zimmerman "stalked" Mr. Martin? "Stalking" is what predators do - there is no evidence Mr. Zimmerman "stalked" Mr. Martin with any intention other than keeping him under observation while Police responded to his 911 call. Nothing illegal or threatening about that.

b) "Scared" or not, there is no evidence Mr. Zimmerman offered any kind of immediate threat, physically or even verbally, that would justify Mr. Martin in physically assaulting him (which the evidence DOES indicate he did).

I am saying that Mr. Martin had the same right to self-defense under Florida law that Mr. Zimmerman or any other individual has. I am also saying there has been no evidence presented that Mr. Zimmerman (who is in fact a much smaller man in stature than Mr. Martin, contrary to your intentionally misleading innuendo otherwise) presented any kind of imminent threat, physically or even verbally, against which Mr. Martin need to or was justified in "defending himself."

All the evidence made public to date indicates Mr. Martin, and not Mr. Zimmerman, unnecessarily initiated a physically violent confrontation between the two men that resulted in his death.

You're entitled to your opinion - but my advise would be one should refrain from calling others "naive" when one's own naivete is so painfully obvious and on display.

As for the personal experience you claim, my own personal experience tells me you were either very lucky (your assailant let you get up and flee), or you are simply lying. I rather suspect the latter.

But no matter - your personal experience as you describe it does not at all reflect Mr. Zimmerman's predicament in the important aspects. Unlike you, the evidence appears to indicate Mr. Zimmerman was already screaming, having his head bashed on the concrete by a younger and physically larger assailant, who was not letting him get up and flee as you "thug" did. Nor does you personal opinion of what Mr. Zimmerman "should have done" have much relevance to what a trial court and jury will decide Florida law required of the two men involved in this instance, and how "reasonable men" should have acted in this instance.

My experience tells me a "reasonable man" would not have launched a violent physical assault upon another man who was presenting no immediate physical threat to him, in a strange neighborhood.

So perhaps we might just agree to disagree - and presume Mr. Zimmerman's innocence as the law requires, until his June 2013 trial (assuming charges are not dropped for lack of evidence or a case in the meantime) before making pronouncements on his guilt.
