OMG, it is not a documentary. If you think you will be offended by the subject matter, don't see the film. We all know that adoptioning a child is a beautiful thing. Right Seymour? Do you agree Arlene? Helloooo...I say... do you concur Mr. & Mrs. Tankleff??
Nothing??

So? I'm Irish, and I wasn't offended when I saw the movie "Leprechaun".

This PC business is getting a little ridiculous.

Give me a break! They better not boycott the film, i want to see it when it comes out because the last few horror movies i've seen were a complete disaster, like the "The Unborn"....i'm clinging on to hope for the Orphan!!

It's FICTION!! This is just as ridiculous as Italians getting upset over The Sopranos.

People need to toughen up. This PC 'he hurt my feelings' bull c.r.a.p. has got to go.

Sounds like they're trying to compete with PETA, good try, but they still have a ways to go...

The decline in the quality of movies made in America is shocking and appalling. If 1939 was considered the height of quality movie making in America exactly 70 years later we certainly have declined very far from that pinnacle.

Well mostly in horror films. The last GREAT horror movie i saw in the movie theatre was "The Orphanage", but that movie was made in Spain. All the other ones were HORRIBLE. The Unborn i think was the last horror movie i saw in the movie theatres--worst movie ever. Hopefully The Orphan is a good one!

Seriously...what's next...worrying about the image of hockey players because Jason wears a hockey mask, and that might be misconstrued by some politically correct, brain dead nitwit?

I agree about The Orphanage but even that had a sad side - the guy selling the tickets "warned" me it was in Spanish and sub-titled which I already knew. Couldn't figure out why he was telling me this like it was important. Turns out people were leaving theaters (not the one where I was, it was all over the internet at one point) because (gasp)you had to READ! That's right, I guess now sub-titled movies, even really good ones, are just too darn hard for us poor Americans.

As for this move.......First I want to say if you are dumb enough to believe anything in this movie as it relates to real life and base any decision you make on anything you see in this or any other move you are far too stupid to raise children in any way shape or form - not only should you not adopt, you should not have natural children, babysite or even own a goldfish.

Second - I'm don't want to spoil the movie, so let's just say if these people did a little research they'd realize they were talking out of their A$$'s

I heard people on Elm Streets everywhere are upset as well, which is why there haven't been any more 'Nightmare' sequels

These PC groups have to go....if you don't like the premise of the movie, then don't go see it. Some of us are capable of going to the movies and watching something just for entertainment.

I'd like to see their research about how this movie has directly impacted the adoption rates in the US.
