Sutton does not win fights however he sticks up for his team and throws big hitts. Hopefully he stays healthy. I like Hillen however he is small and needs to be stronger in his end. The "D' needs help now that Martinek is out for the season and Meyer is in.

Not being a huge baseball fan means that it doesn't really matter much to me. But it also means that I can be objective about it. Jeter, Rivera & Petitte? Sure, tons of class. And by next year things could be completely reversed but, right now, the fact is that the Yanks are the kings of American sports while the Mets ended up a pathetic bag of losers who sat at home with their thumbs up their ess. Yeah, there has to be someone available or in the system stronger than Meyer. Folks are already tired of me ragging on endlessly about how Snow swapped Zhitnik for Meyer while the Flyers were able to swap Zhitnik for Coburn. What a stinko move.

Yep, the goals are finally coming but it still is November. I expect to see more & more breakouts against us as a result of the press offense.

Still, it DOES feel better losing 6-4 than 5-0.

What do the Yankees and their recent success have anything to do with the Mets and how does it help your argument ? Petitte is a cheat and admitted using HGH, Jeter is in the closet and an over rated showboater. Objective ?, hardly.

There is no doubt that these kids can score goals. However, the inconstancy is a problem. I think they need more leadership. And a solid defenseman.

Oddly enough, when the game turns to more 'skate & shoot' in the post-season, we might look more respectable.

I'll have to pay more attention because I thought Hillen was pretty strong, as well as responsible in his own end. As well as the other end. Maybe I'm wrong. I also think FMIV is strong, although from past experience it seems like he'll have a few good games and then fade into anonymity for a while (if he's allowed to play for a stretch).

For all of the complaining around the net about Martinek not playing well this season, having him out completely sucks, doesn't it.
