Democrats continued their War on Moms today with Florida State Representative Scott Randolph attacking Ann Romney for being a stay-at-home mom:
Rep. Scott Randolph
How many house servants did "stay-at-home-mom" Ann Romney have to raise her kids. Just b/c u don't have job doesn't make u stay-at-home mom.
Randolph continued on a tirade that has thus far lasted a full day.
As we reported yesterday, the President is tanking in the polls and all of the areas which women cite as their main concerns are the areas in which Obama receives the worst marks.
If Democrats' strategy going into 2012 is to attack the voting bloc they need the most, Republicans have 2012 in the bag.
Totally disasterous strategy, I agree.
Wanted to bring Ann Romney front and center for attacks in a attempt to marginalize her early in the campaign, while talking up Buffett Rule.
Rosen's rolling out of the strategy backfired immediately. The Romney campaign got a huge boost instead of taking a hit. Ann showed great poise in turning the attack right back on the political operatives that launched it.
While confusion reigned in the Dem. camp as half seemed to recoil and denounce Rosen's comments, while the other half dug deeper by backing Rosen up, it was revealed WH pays female workers 16% less than male counterparts, on top of the news coming out today that Obama pays a lower tax rate than his secretary.
Who could that be?
What influence did he have on his son?
Did he organize hate?
"In his three years as U.S. president, Barack Obama has been dogged by claims he is not patriotic enough.
Last year he even had to publish his birth certificate to silence doubters who suggested he was not born an American.
Now it emerges that similar fears were expressed about his father, who was categorised with others as ‘anti-American and anti-white’ when he moved to the United States in 1959.
Mr Obama Sr had grown up in Kenya under British rule and aroused the fears of both colonial officers and American officials when he won a chance to study in Hawaii. The officials felt Kenyan students were ‘academically inferior’ with a ‘bad reputation’ for turning anti-American.
A memo from a British diplomat in Washington to Whitehall – released today by the National Archives in West London – sets out their concerns about the young Kenyans."
