Since IKEA is right by I-278, they should have an exit on I-278 with an elevated ramp directly to the IKEA parking garage, so as to not clog up local streets surrounding the IKEA.

In addition, frequent bus service to/from downtown, lower Manhattan, and the nearest subway station is a must. The nice thing about IKEA furniture is that it's disassembled and in easy-to-carry boxes that are perfect for travel via subway and bus.

Is that a nice way of saying it falls apart after you put it together? I do love Ikea though.
