You don't know what you are talking about. I am Native American. I live on the Pine Ridge Reservation in SD. No one in this part of the west has ever referred to us using that term. Never heard of it and neither have other I asked. Don't worry though because there is other insulting names that we have been called. But then I suppose other races of people get called names also. It always makes the person doing the name calling feel superior because they actually feel inferior.
