Book suggests cop admitted man was paid to kill Tankleffs

I wonder what Spota and Lato have to say about the article in The NY Times and the ParamusPost. Typical wise ass answer by a Lenny Lato character - I'll read the book for 'laughs.'

And just is the agenda of the author(s). sink four years into a book with the HOPE of making money from it? You have a better chance of going to a horse farm and buying a yearling for a few hundred bucks and it wins The Kentucky Derby.

I am sure that Spota, Lato, and even Cuomo were asked for an interview. I am sure they all declined.

The McCready quote was taken out of 'context' and the cabinet maker had his head in the cabinet when he overheard Steuerman say he killed two people.

I am still puzzled why Lato and co. didn't give immunity to Glenn Harris if they believed he wasn't at the crime scene.

It was obvious to me that Harris lied in his initial statements to the defense and to the DA investigators. He lied because he wanted to tell the truth and was afraid he would be prosecuted for the crime. He places himself 6/10s of mile down the road to give him as much distance as he possibly could so as not to implicate himself directly at the crime scene in the driveway. His lie spoke volumes to the truth.

If OJ could be found innocent of two murders that he so obviously committed, then why is it unbelievable that Tankleff could be found guilty of two murders that he so obviously did not committ? This is our justice system. It is not perfect, and sometimes the correct result is not achieved.

It's obvious why McStupid will have his lawyer read the book. Since the illiterate liar never learned how himself, he'll have to have someone read it to him. If he could read as well as he lies, he'd be a speed reader.

Suffolk DA Tom Spota is up for re-election in 2009...

Those interested in getting answers from Spota should question him in public when he makes his campaign appearances...

Then vote accordingly on election day in November 2009...

Remember...2009 is an off-year election with less than a 30% voter turn-out...

Get off your rear ends and vote...get off your rear ends and volunteer on a campaign...and get your friends, family and neighbors off their rear ends and get them out to vote...

McCready belongs in jail and the state investigation shows that the people who conducted the investigation are more interested in covering for dirty cops than they care about justice in suffolk county. I'm sick of politics over truth and the reckless tainted investigation of the Arlene and Seymour Tankleff murders. Suffolk County and New York state should be ashamed.

He would've known not to 'confess' for something he didn't do, just like the hero, John Proctor.

I think McCready was stupid for apparently going into business with the killer's sister/half sister. To believe the tihs some of the killer's supporters say one would have to believe the entire homicide squad was involved in framing the kid. Give me a break!

all the more reason to videotape SCPD interrogations.
