At 15 I had fun and managed to stay alive. That “Cross at the green, not in between” safety campaign really worked.

Had they tried to cross in the crosswalk, as you say they did, they would have had a traffic light on their side and the driver would have been facing charges. Well, he’s not facing any because they were trying to dash across in the wrong place.
