I am sick of these pols whose only motto seems to be : "What's in it for me?" Low lives should not even think about running in 2010. Disgusting.

Sounds like most Long Islanders here have finally had just about all they can take.

The pols, property taxes, illegals and the unions.. fairly predictable outcome, I should say. In fact, one wonders what took them so long to leave.

I am happy they didn't pass any bills...now we have to get the US Congress to stop passing bills. All these bills do is take money out of working folks pockets!

Brian X Foley may as well be Brian "Ex Rep" Foley.

The piece of garbage had the nerve to send out letters defending his shiftlessness.

Will we NYState VOTERS have a "short memory" and forget about the abominable behavior of our IRRESPONSIBLE LEGISLATORS in 2010?

Will VOTERS be "sweet-talked" and "romanced" by those NYState Senate sleazebags into voting for the same COUP-CREEPS again?

Will we have any COMMON SENSE or will we just be
cuckoo and invite the same opportunists to create even
more messes?

Let's get rid of the cucko coup Legislators who value their
own narcissism and opportunism over serving the people of New York State.

How much do you want to bet that newsday won't talk about the coup next year, but only go on about all the wonderful things that the democratic senators have done for us since the last election?

Term limits should be instituted for both state and federal elected positions. You get elected and you can only run one more time, it will cut down on corruption real fast.

I absolutely agree with that sentiment. If you only have up to two terms to accomplish what you were elected to do, you have to move swiftly. There is not enough time for you to scratch backs and get scratched and political corruption is minimized. TERM LIMITS for everyone, no matter how favored the pol is..it is not a CAREER ! It is civil service. Never meant to be a "job". These people need to get a life. Throw them out! "In 2010, dont let them do it again..." (rings nice).

See here is exactly what I was afraid of.. the "its not my Senator but yours" mentality. Little Devil regardless of party affliation Dem ,Repub, Independ, they ALL have to go. It IS your Senator, and MY Senator, that sat on their butts for 5 weeks. They ALL have to go. So in LI vote for anyone than the incumbent that's in their now. Its your guy causing the problems, just as much as its my guy. Time for them both to GO!

One of these people is your Senator.. Your job is to make sure that you DO NO RE-ELECT them. It's not just my Senator causing the problem, its yours too. They ALL need to GO. Tel your friends, neighbors, co-workers, to copy this down, post it on the fridge til Nov, remember what happened in June.. NOTHING, but cost you and I the taxpayers MONEY. How they still got paid, raised their salaries. And Please vote for ANYONE else but those on this list.

TERM LIMITS, VOTE YES.
When we are dealing with children, we have to punish them when they misbehave. When they dont learn from their misbehaviour, they must be given a 'time out". OK, folks, next November 2010, give your existing Legislature, all of it, a "Time Out". You know what to do.. oh, and vote in anyone other than an incumbent along with Term Limits. Things will improve after we do that.
