Seven Democrats voted against the motto, In God We Trust, on the visitor center: Edwards, MD; Honda, CA; Hirono, Hawaii; McDermott, WA; Scott, KY; Stark, CA, and Conyers, MI. The only Republican was Ron Paul.

Which "God" are we honoring? Zeus? Christ? Allah? FSM?

Religion and government should always be kept separate, because mixing them weakens both.

People in this country still believe in God. They may not go to church as much as years ago or practice a set religion, but they still believe in God.
