87 killed in attacks in Norway | The Columbus Dispatch

Full story: Columbus Dispatch

A homegrown terrorist set off a deadly explosion in downtown Oslo yesterday before heading to a summer camp dressed as a police officer to commit one of the deadliest shooting rampages in history, killing at least 80 people as terrified youths ran and even swam for their lives, police said.

The Norwegian police on Saturday charged a 32-year-old man, whom they identified as a Christian fundamentalist with right-wing connections, over the bombing of a government center here and a shooting attack on a nearby island that together left at least 91 people dead.

- Why would anyone ever think that the Tea Party cranks are dangerous?

Original reports last night credited "helpers of Jihad" being behind the bombing in Norway.

What will those crazy Musli--I mean Christian religiots think of next?

Kudos to the Dispatch on the tasteful photograph of dead bodies on the lakeshore. You can't really make out any blood.

That was before the liberal media took over the story.

The truth was quickly jettisoned. Islamic militants did this not a Christian fundamentalist right wing gun fanatic.

This same liberal press is incorrectly reporting about a "heat wave" in the states. There is no heat wave. These false reports about record high temperatures are part of the vast left-wing conspiracy of most of the scientists in the world.

Patriots today will put on their snow suits. Because, by God, we know it is not hot.

Rupert Murdoch's news arm was incorrect. On the website this morning, they properly credited Christian fundamentalism.

The blood of children are all over your right wing hands. You already have Tim McVeigh, Jerod Loughner, and now this guy.

Actually, the latest news from Norway is that the suspect is a Nordic "Christian, conservative" Norwegian named Anders Behring Breivik. Police say that the mere existence of the Tea Party on the other side of the Atlantic and the evil spirits that reside in firearms conspired to compel him to allegedly kill his (alleged) victims.

What a happy day for American liberals! They secretly love it each time a white, self-proclaimed Christian nut job goes berserk and kills innocent people. It reinforces all of their prejudices about white men with guns and gives them that warm glow of moral superiority.

It has nothing to do with moral superiority. Its about reasonable gun control to keep guns away from extremists. Wouldn't you feel safer if it was possible to make it a little tougher for left wing and right wing nut jobs from getting guns? Wouldnt you feel safer if members of the Aryan Nation or Black Panthers could not get AK-47s?

"Black Panthers'?!?!?! RACIST!

There are plenty of "reasonable" anti-narcotics laws to keep drugs out of the hands of people who probably shouldn't be using them. The Dispatch is full of stories every week showing how effective those laws are. How effective would the same sort of laws be against firearms?

I don't care how many or what types of firearms other people own, it's their business. When they misuse those firearms, it becomes everyone's business but not until then.

Besides, is there a truly objective, infallible, and accurate test of who is an "extremist"? Abolitionists and suffragettes were considered extremists 150 years ago.

Personally I feel this guy (if he did it) should be used as a spear and arrow target for a Viking reenactment group for what he allegedly did, not least for making it tougher for responsible gun owners.

After watching the news for some time now concerning this event; I'm convinced that this man is part of a clandestine network / organization somewhere. This man is apparently a marksman, or at least more gifted with firearms (handguns, semi-automatic pistols, automatic pistols), than most people. His demeanor; calm, methodical, lack of empathy...was he / is he on any medications? What type of firearm did he have? Where did he get the grenades I keep hearing about that have been recovered obviously unexploded on the Island? Bomb-making background, where did he get his training?

Back to the gun, how many times did he reload, which begs the questions: 1) how much ammunition was this man carrying? where did he get so much ammunition? What type of handgun was it, the make and model? Where did he acquire this weapon.

Logistic training; where did this man learn, police diversionary techniques? The timing and planning crystal clear ... the magnitude of the bomb, who helped him put it together. It's my understanding this man was / is a 'farmer', how does a farmer learn advanced explosive planning and police diversionary techniques? from the Internet, sure there's information - but not the training, the in the field training.

This man has been planning this for quite some time, who has seen him in these areas in the days, weeks, even months prior to this?

The boat to get to the Island was own / operated by the "Labour Party" ..how did this man gain access to it alone? If he said he was the 'police' then why wasn't he ferried to the island? Who authorized this man this particular boat? What paperwork exist on the boat? Was it a power boat? or traditional paddles ...if it was a power boat, where did he learn how to handle the boat...does he have a boat of his own?

If the bomb was a 'car bomb', then this man had a second vehicle, who drove the second vehicle and or the car bomb-vehicle to the police diversion / target location? Where did this man receive advanced electronic timing device training.

The police badge, where did this man acquire this badge? was it even remotely close to their real police badges ... who was the man / woman that allowed this man, based on the 'claim of being a police officer' to the boat? Did he have to 'dock' the boat, who helped him dock the boat upon reaching the island?

The fact that this man is being positioned as a lone offender, actually says otherwise, based on an attack of this scale. How well did his business do, because apparently he had liquid means and resources enough to fund all of this; the fertilizer, the car(s), the gun(s) and a lot of ammunition. I wonder what this man's financial disposition looks like. Who are this man's associates, friends, family ...so far we are not hearing from anyone that knows this man, that's odd ...and smells of a careful effort to make this man look like a lone offender, purposefully.

Who is this man's parents? Does he have parents...where are they, why are they not speaking to the press? Where are this man's friends, hell even customers of his farm...who was buying produce from this man's farm? Who helped him setup the farm? How long has the farm been in operations? Who worked on the farm with this man? Where did he get everything (...we know about the fertilizer),...everything else for the farm, where did he acquire it?

There's more to the events on the island... more people had to have been involved or this man, has extremely rare ... does this man have a military background? What special forces was this man in? This man must have a military background from somewhere?...does he have a shooting range up, at his farm? Something!?

Was this man...we need to know far more about this man? Where is this man's girlfriend, wife, significant-other(s)?...does he not have 'partners', who know how he thinks?...why is there no significant-other speaking to the press? Does this man have children of his own, doubtful, based on his callous disregard for these teenagers..if this man was an isolationist, why?

The Norwegian authorities said last night, "He came out of nowhere. No one had ever heard of him."

Hmmm...Where have we heard that before?

The guy was a FARMER. Legally owned three guns... A rifle, shotgun and pistol. He had NO law enforcement or military experience. It doesn't take an expert to kill people (600) trapped on an Island with no where to go. He was able to buy the ingrediants for the explosive because he was a FARMER. There is NOTHING special about this guy other than he was nuts, period. Considering everyone on the Island was anti-gun, just think if ONE person had a concealed gun permit how many lives could have been saved. Cost a lot of liberal, socialist, morons their lives.

According to the news one of the guns used was an automatic, why don't you go 'follow' that fact and see what you can come up with. It does take an expert to get extreme kill counts, but you 'would' know because you kill people. How many are now dead by your 'stalking' hands? Even nuttier are people who stalk others...do you know anyone like that, stalking people to shoot them?

Just as millions have been killed over money and natural resources. Shall we spit on those things as well?
