Rights group attacks Dutch immigration policy

Hey, if you want to be a citizen, you need to earn that right.

The Rights group has no right criticizing my country.
If Moroccans or Turks or Arabs want to emigrate from their countries then they should try Pakistan, Sudan, Somalia, Saudi Arabia where a very bright future awaits them.
By the way, besides the language and cultural tests, they should also pass a test on the knowledge of the Holy Bible.

The Dutch only need to look at the U.S. to realize that being overrun by third-world scum is not the way to go.

You do realize that most of those refugees "turd worlders" are actually highly educated? They're doctors and lawyers and judges. They're human beings with families.

Maybe you ought to visit those countries before you open your pathetic and racist little mouths.

The would-be migrants are tested on their knowledge of Dutch language and culture, but the best way to learn these things is by immersing yourself in it. Sure you could take classes -- I did. I learned nonsensical ways of asking for directions. When I came here, despite the classes, I could only say "broodje?" (sandwich?) and "Ik ben Canadese" (I am Canadian). Within one year of living here, I've become fluent. I have a much deeper understanding of Dutch culture for living as part of it. The test discriminates by testing on a subject that can't possibly be understood by people who haven't lived here.

Furthermore, the test is much too expensive. People in these countries simply can't afford it. It isn't that they aren't willing to work -- Moroccans and Poles in this country do the work no other Dutch people want. In their own countries however, work is harder to find. Money is harder to come by. Paying for this test is taking food out of people's mouths.

We're all humans.

There should be no international laws. Every country should adopt the laws that their people prefer. Immigration control is a countries perogative and no bogus international body should have any say about it.

I wish the US would have laws that require immigrants to have a basic knowledge of English and a basic culture test. Oh wait, we do it's called LEGAL IMMIGRATION. The problem in our country is with ILLEGALS who seem to believe the laws don't apply to them.
The lack of enforcement of US IMMIGRATION laws by my elected officials is ridiculous. To the point where I'm ready to move to another country, if I could just find one that would allow me in legally, and realize I simply want other immigrants to be legal too.

Oh you are a PIP, a country has every right to have it's own immigration laws, what some international body says is irrelvant.

Humans have a right to be in the country they were born in or the country they LEGALLY immigrated to. The US has been invaded by 10-20 million illegals since 1986. Back in 1986 our Goverment gave those here illegaly at that time Amesty and fast-forward to today, our problem is worse and we have illegal-loving people who cannogt compute that illegals work for cash, do not pay all of their taxes, drop an anchor baby under the mis-intrepeted 14th ammendment which gives that child instant citizenship. Then those illegal parents can collect social services, they drain our ERs/Hospitals and those that pay taxes get to fund it.

Somehow, all of this gets someone like me labelled as racist simply because I do not like illegal aliens. Last I knew 'illegal' was not a race?

There are illegal humans, they are the ones that seem to think immigration laws do not apply to them.

The e-mail was no hoax. Earlier in the day, a street cleaner had found a
man’s head wrapped in a plastic bag on a grassy area outside a
government building in western Moscow. An autopsy confirmed it belonged
to a native of Tajikistan whose decapitated body was discovered last
week in woods south of the city.

The beheading was splashed across the front pages of newspapers Friday.
Although hate crimes, often by young neo-Nazi skinheads, are
increasingly common in Russia, analysts say this is the first racially
motivated killing to be accompanied by a political demand and a public
claim of responsibility.
