Wake up team of 18,000. You're lining the pockets of the owner(what's new?) & getting the raw end of the deal.

Yet another heartless performance. Has to be very frustrating for the coaching staff, trying to find out how to motivate these heroes.

What kind of call was that to remove Boogaard? This is a joke. The refs should be fined for that call or even suspended. They suspend players for stupid acts, why not refs? That was out of line. That being said, this team is going nowhere fast. It is the same team we have been watching for years now with little success. Doesn't matter who we bring in, it is all the same because of the COACHING STRATEGY. I honestly don't blame Gaborik for wanting to get out. In this town, we will never see a championship until Lemaire is gone or changes his approach and I do not see the latter. I still love to watch, but it is not worth the time anymore.

I sure hope someone sends a video of every second Boogaard was on the ice to the NHL and asks them to explain how no penalties were called against the Canookies AND hot the heck Boogey was booted for something he might do. There was the obvious call late in the game behind the Van net, but there were at least two other blatant hooks/trips behind the play that were completely ignored. The Wild were sluggish, but the refs were flat out horrible. With the Wild powerplay, they could have jump started themselves of the refs had done their job. The only person in the refs world happy after that game was Mic McGeough.

You know what, given the money Lemaire makes, he needs to take the fine and just rip the officials in a post game press conference. That should get the NHL's attention and maybe even get them to talk about it with the refs union.

“Wake up team of 18,000”

“Boring Game” etc….

If it’s boring, why do you watch?

I love the bandwagon alcoholic sports fans in MN; so quick to think they could do better.. No wonder nobody good wants to come to our team; sure we fill the seats, but mostly with drunk, whining babies who cry every time we lose.. If you don’t like it, don’t watch; it’s so easy even a 1st grader could do it!

So al Coholic if what you say about Lemaire is true, who is going to do a better job and how long will it take to re structure the team based upon the new coach's philosophy? Take a poll of existing coach's in the league and I think you will find that most of them consider Lemaire one of the best, if not the best coach in the business. That being said, I think he needs to do some things differently just to see if they work, such as keeping the same line combos for a longer period of time, and also choosing a permanent captain. There are a couple of other suggestions also, but not enough space in this forum.

I'm tired of the old 2-1 games, just knocking the puck around, seldom an odd man rush, very few "pretty" goals...if we didn't have Backstrom, we'd be a losing hockey team! I feel bad for all of team of 18,000 paying big bucks to watch BORING hockey! Doug R & J Lemaire need to become unemployed quick! I do agree that & I have always thought that NHL referees are by far the worst officials in pro sports but the Wild need to start playing better & cleaning house at the top will have to be the first step!!

We watch because we are fans. We comment because we are fans. We get frustrated because we are fans. If you want to congratulate someone because they tried hard, go watch a high school game.

nobody good wants to come to our team because of the coach & his style of play!!!! It's boring & as you can see by the last few years when we've made the playoffs it's outdated & ineffective. The great players now want to play a more open style of hockey, more offense, more excitement. I watch because I'm a fan & have been since day one. I can't afford to go to many games. I think that if you knew what you were talking about you'd realize the people at wild games are not drunks & not whining. They've stood by this organization 100%, but are maybe becoming a little frustrated with the fans dedication to this team & management failing to get the necessary players to go further in the playoffs. Winning the Stanley Cup is the idea isn't it?
