Hey Jagmo- Hawks fans know what the Wings have done and they are great team. But as we say here: Dee-troit sucks (in every way). Whoever we play, its going to be a tough series so we'll see after the Ducks/Wings series who we play. Talent wise the Wings have one of the best rosters in the NHL. But you have to play the games and to be the best you need to beat the best. We'll take our chances with the Hawks. |

what a crazy game. had the look of a cup final for sure. im a little bummed not only because we are out, but because of the few idiots in gm place and thier conduct on saturday night. what a determined team the hawks are. a lot of maturity for such a young squad, may just pave the way to the cup. go hawks from here on in.

. We'll just keep chanting Osgood,Osgood,Osgood. Because no matter what the rest of the Dings do , deep down they are crapping their pants everytime Osgood plays. They tell the public they are behind him, but really would probably rather have an 85 year old Hasek than him. See if Tim Cheveldae can still skate. Go Ducks |

It takes time to accurately tell how good an athlete is. For example, on the 1981 San Francisco 49ers, they had future Hall of Famers, people didn't know at the time how good Montana and Lott were, or even how good Clark was. Yes Kane and Toews may be good now, but will their stardom have lasting power? Will they be perennial all-stars? |
||||
Bottom line. Win. If they bring a Cup to Chicago (which hopefully is sooner than 10 years, because I'm not sure the window will be open that long) then their stardom will have lasting power. |

Section 313, excellent point, the window in pro sports doesn't last too long, ask the Seahawks and Bears of the NFL.
