Very sad and a waste of a good person!
Parents and friends let this be a wakeup call on the dangers of head injuries and pain medicine.
Boogy had passed all tests to play at the end of the year but because he became addicted to the pain medicine and sleeping pills he was sent to treatment.
People that knew him will tell he became very depressed because of his issues, look for it to come out in the next couple days it was suicide!
He was a GREAT teammate and even better person, off the ice he was a teddybear!
God Bless you Boogy and your family.

Try showing a little concern for those of us left behind? The police could say, "There is no present threat to public safety." But, they didn't.
So until they do someone who could do harm to a young professional athlete could very well be a public menace.
No news is good news. Talk about taking a giant leap into the deep end. Yes, better freak out. I think "don't suspect foul play" means it's a young professional athlete serial killer on the loose. Good grief. Let the guy rest.

If you really have access to credible information such as this, you should keep it to yourself. Otherwise, you are just showing off.

If his name was Derek Bin laden and a president named B. Hussein O. could get re-elected because of it, the autopsy results would have been done already.

For those who are only here to say idiotic things, get a freakin life! Its called respect for the deceased. Maybe if your fathers had been half the man that Boogy was you would know that.
I would say you'd get was coming to you when you passed, from #24 himself, but I think you have more to worry about where you will be going.
Live on Boogy!

Had to love the big man. I wished he could have stayed with the Wild. He would have tied for 3rd in scoring this year.

Thats because its hard to score goals when you're looking over your shoulder for some knuckle dragging goon who is trying to end your career.
I know its still part of the game,,,,,,but why it is, I dont know.

It must suck going through life without understanding the game of hockey and the role of an enforcer.

It must suck having so much free time to kill that you understand the role of an enforcer.
