Niemi and Crawford to battle it out for a spot? Thibault's the one that should be put on notice.

Niemi is a very nice guy and he smokes a lot of cigarettes, especially menthol ones.

Thibault? When's the last time you watched a Hawks game? The Bulin wall plays for the Hawks. Thibault hasn't been with the Hawks for 4-5 years.

Jugi, thanks for the inside info. If Niemi ain't man enough to smoke Marlboro Red's, keep his ass in Finland. We don't need no menthol smoking pussboy over here.

Now, if you get over here, Jugi, I suspect I too might enjoy burning a whole pack of smokes with you over a bottle of scotch -- or vodka, whatever. Take care kid.

HEY, IT WAS JUST A FAIT ACCOMPLI FOR FOLEY. Imagine what we all expect to happen next year (we can't talk about it and not jinx it, right? RIGHT?) and Pat Foley isn't making the call!
The Rockie we've come to know wouldn't wait any longer than necessary to make the picture round and complete.
Burish is OK, right? I don't care what else he does, right or wrong, after the one punch knockout. I thought the buzz was, though, that he was mistake prone and heavy on the giveaways. I like him, but, I'm not that sharp or up on individual players.
(Ramblin' on) My cousin is an old-line, die-hard Blackhawks and, dare I say it, Rangers fan. WELLLLLL, he's a die-hard Hawks fan NOW! I had forgotten about how nuts he was about hockey and the instant he saw me, at a family gathering, from across the room, screams "Foley's back!". We were buzzin' for four hours about nuttin' but the Hawks.
Should I be leary about the Chicago curse or should I continue with this confident excitement? I'm telling you, I haven't been this excited, IN MAY, about my hockey club in decades!

"They're OUR kids, damnit!"

Certainly share your enthusiasm for next year!! The interest that the team is getting now is really encouraging and a lot of fans are coming back. I think Rocky has had a hand in reviving fan interest and the guy wants a winner. The draft is coming up soon and I can hardly wait to see who we get. The only concern I have so far is we seem to be after a lot of European players. We need them in the mix for their skill level but we can't forget the grit the North American players provide.

Hey Tony. Whats going on in the sunny south? The Sox had a bad trip to Toronto this week. My Yankees are hurting, no pitching and injuries. Oh well the season is still young.
Kots of interest in the Hawks. As Ramrod says it is great to see in May. Have a good summer. I will watch for posting from the guys over the summer. Philly and the Wings play for the cup and Philly wins in 6. What do you think?

Hey Brian. Looks like Rocky is cleaning house. The guy seems to be in tune with the fans. Goal tending situation for next year looking good. Who do you like for the cup this year. I take Philly to play the wings and beat them in 6.

Tat would be a barnburner. The last Sharks-Stars game was fantastic. Stayed up till 3:00 am to see the end and comments.

I have to agree with you - Euro players are highly skilled, but lacking in 'grit'. I appreciate that the NHL wants high scoring games, but I want bone crushing hits and blood d*mnit!!
