I loved all the other moves, but this one blows my mind!!

Yet you dont want to resign Scottie Upshall? This team will be in the basement again. TSN was right Columbus will again be at the bottom of the NHL.

CBJ has a history of bringing players up too early. I assume Martinek passed his physical, averaged 21 minutes per game over 64 games, and was only a -5 on a bad Islanders team. He is worth the risk. Remember Klesla, he was only healthy for 34, 26 & 61 (CBJ & PHX) games from 2008-2011.$2.2 mil is acceptable for 1 yr; no long term commitment.

It's entirely possible this move is a bust, but no one really knows for sure, do they?
