One large slow defenseman gone!!!..Thats good Pierre...good job...
Now you need to look at another bad choice you made this year.....that would be kaberle....Its now time to just cut him loose to anyone who wants him...thats it....Fax out to all G.M's that you are packaging Kaberle and GOMEZ,GIONTA (midget twins) for a second round draft pick, and thats it....dont be greedy!!!

Im not sure there is anyone who wants kaberle,im sure there is no one who wants gomez, but there may be a taker for Gionta. We have a few untradeable players on this team. Sad isnt it ?

2 more years....only 2 more years....We can really only fine tune the 3rd and 4th lines at this point....The reality is our 1st line is really, any great teams second line.
So were stuck waiting for two years until we can build a first line.. Which I hope all players are 6'4, 200lbs-215lbs..Lol.

Its not rocket science...its the ability to look ahead and you would figure that gauthier would be able to do it...but nope.

Not happy wht getting far less than what was warrented for gil.

never liked kaberle, but he's way better than Gil was.

I don't think we got less then what was warranted personally . We got a 2nd round pick this year and one pretty good prospect . Gill was gone after this season and if you look at some of the other trades that have just happened , I think we did well . Gill only brought leadership and penalty killing to this team and his time was done , we got younger , we got a high pick in what they're saying will be one of the best drafts ever and we got what could be another big power forward in a few years . I think it was a win-win for both sides . I honestly expected a 2nd round pick tops for gill .

Watched him play last night and NOw I AGREE COMPLETELY LABATTS, not getting it right at all in a game as important as every game is now for that team was just inexcuseable. he was so brutal I think it was actually the worst I have seen any single defenseman in one game all year from any team. He's gotta go ASAP, he's another liability along with Andre Kostitsyn and Scott Gomez.

After watching Kaberle and Price watching a feather pass right in front of both of them ,so Perrault could score, convinces me that both Kaberle and price should be dumped.. Just not engaged in the game at all. Now both kaberle and price can play very good games with the talent they have. Just dont seem to concentrate for sixty minutes at a time..
