Yes MN this is the first season poor Gabby has had this injury, why are people being so darn mean?? Hello??? If I were him I would have been to every doctor I could (I think he has enough money to cover it) to find out what was wrong with me so my career wouldn't be affected. Also I don't think that anyone forced him to sign his last contract so if he didn't want to play here he could have left then. Kurtis Foster had a lot more to cry about and yet he's doing all he can to get back on the ice. With a positve attitude.

Too bad for Wild, they should have traded him after last season. Now it's time to look for a GOOD replacement for Doug. Agree on the timing of surgery so as to help later this year, but return would likely be after the trade deadline.:-( He'll get surgery and NOT come back IMHO.

Walk to where ? This day and age no other team will chance on damaged goods. If this "Hahn-yock" had any sense he would sign any contract with the Wild he could get right now. He needs to learn more English full sentences and meanings such as " Take the money and run ( limp in his case ) "

Last time I checked, liking your coach or GM wasn't a condition to a professional sports contract. For that kind of money you're darn right I would play with a bad hip. Yes I may cry, but I'd still be out there. Then, I'd swing through the bank drive through on the way home and look at all the commas in my account balance and know it was worth every painful second. I can't stand DR or the moves he's made, but that is not an excuse for any player to not give 100% every day.

Can we trade Lamaire? I'm sorry, but the coach is the problem with this team. When is the last time you've seen a Wild player crash the net?!? Owen Nolan will if he is healthy, but he is injury prone. This team needs to get a backbone and start playing offensive hockey. It is frustrating to watch us lose 1 goal games all the time. And some of the first round draft picks need to step it up some, too. Our predictable offense of always trying to shoot the puck from the blue line and nobody in front for a rebound is just lame. And why is it whenever we carry the puck into the offensive zone, all of our players circle away from the net instead of getting the puck towards it? Ugh. When the fans stop coming to games, do you think the front office will finally figure it out or will it be to late? Please, Wild, give us a contender!

Combined 23 games and 21 points. I'd say he did something there! Another what have you done for me lately fan. Also, as you might recall, he had his first hip surgery after last season's playoffs. He played the whole series hurt. Try driving your car with 3 wheels and let me know how it performs. In any other system, this guys is a 100+ pts per year player. He will be sorely missed if he leaves.

He's going to get surgery and repair his hip which should clear up the groin issues. He'll sign a one year deal for 6-7 million this summer. Re-establish himself as a premier talent (The guy had 83 points in 76 games last season) and then he will sign a long term deal worth a buttload of money.

It sure would be great if Gaborik could work out some kind of a contract with the Wild and stay for another year. Then he could get his surgery and leave on better terms and support a team that has stood by him throughout his past problems.

The only sad thing is sissy or not, he and Koivu are the only ones that can skate and handle the puck. Did you ever see live how bad the rest of the team is in handling the puck, the Wild are at least 5 players away from even having a chance to make it past the first playoff round.

Maybe instead of asking for Ovechkin or Crosby money he should be asking for Lohan or Cyrus money. Oh wait, those girls would be less likely to stay away from contact than MaryAnn Gaybrick.

This can definitely affect her skills and career. Hip replacement surgeries are considered to be one of the most critical and painful operations. This notion is backed up by the data that a number of hip replacement surgeries have been harmful to one's well-being due to defective medical devices used.
