Religious intolerance like racism need not be an issue in the case of the proposed mosque near the Trade Center crater. First the federal immigration laws need to be considered due to the enormous numbers of Islamic illegal immigrants of Middle Eastern nationalities. Since before IRCA, there has been a huge illegal immigration into America by way of Canada into points like Washington and Michigan Because of unregulated visas being doled out, the terrorist were able to destroy the trade center. Three of them had expired visas. Our federal government has casually given these illegal immigrants impunity like all of the other illegal immigrants. A conflict over the security of our nation is not appropriate when there are laws that dictate that illegal immigrants are to be deported. The laws make no provision for children and anchor babies of illegal immigrants to be an exception. The elderly ones are also no exception though they fall through the cracks just like American senior citizens do all of the time. Along with the government's unwillingness to enforce immigration laws, there is negligence on there part regarding social security for Americans.

Nine years. Fire them.
