Blackhawks win first Stanley Cup since 1961

the playoffs were great. i watched alot of the flyers and it was a fun ride. still, i don't know how many people really care about the sport. hi def tv helps alot.

Yes!!! This 54-year old man only had to wait since he was five for another Stanley Cup for my beloved Blackhawks!!!

I wonder how old I will be when the Cubs finally win?

The Flyers had a great playoff run and it came down to the OT goal.They were amazing and congrats for making it to the finals.Thank you for a very entertaining and emotional season.Can't wait till October!!!Congrats to the Blackhawks for the victory!

This is as good as it gets!!! Stayed up very late last night watching postgame...What a team. What a win. It was worth the wait.

That OT goal to win the cup was something else. Like he said its a kids dream to score the winning goal in the stanley cup finals

Let's put it this way. There is no one alive today that was present when the Cubs won in what, 1907? 103 years and counting......don't hold your breath.

the nhl playoffs started?

Flew on a plane from St. Louis to Chicago years ago. The whole Flyers team sat in our section. They were all hungover and passed out. The ones that weren't sleeping cut off the other guys ties and then sprayed shaving cream on their faces. i went to the bathroom and when I came out, one of the players pushed me against the wall and rubbed up against me. I was shocked and spent the rest of the flight fuming mad. When the plane stopped I jumped up, got my stuff, got as close to the front of the plane as I could, turned around and looked the pig in the eye and said, very loudly "You're an ASSHOLE". The whole team erupted in laughter. At least it made me feel better. Glad they lost....really glad.

The player that pushed you was probably either Patrick Sharp or Ben Eager, both ex-Flyers who play for Chicago now.

There is something intrinsically wrong with playing a winter sport when it is 90F...I'm just sayin'...

Why even take the time to comment. Go back to watching racing. There is no sport as physically demanding as hockey and the Stanley Cup Playoffs are as good as it gets. No matter who is playing.

hockey players are even more less intelligent than football players

I don't care for racing either...boring sport. Almost as interesting as watching paint dry.
