Bruins' Season Ends In Overtime

Scott Walker scored his first NHL playoff goal 18:46 into overtime to send the Carolina Hurricanes into the Eastern Conference finals with a 3-2 victory over the Bruins Thursday night in Boston.

As I watched and listened to the final minute of the Bruins game replayed on ESPN this morning, I had to smile inspite of the outcome. A breath of fresh air came came across, the unforgettable and unmistakeable voice of Chuck Keaton. Chuck worked for the Whalers for many years and was a resident of East Granby. Tremendous individual, was respected by all.

Turn off the generator, scrape up the center ice logo and be glad we no longer have to listen to the NESN announcers and commentators who clearly are the worst in the league ! Lets Go PENS!
