See, he had a funeral for his fish, there is your explanation.
I get the sense that he didn't fell well enough to play and be effective in the game. That is being a good team player!

Yeah, but for the biggest game of the season, don't you think one of your best players could have at least been relagated to the 4th line and take an occasional shift; I'm just curious ??? I don't know if it would have made a difference in the outcome, but I do believe it would have shown MOXY.

And the 1st poster is correct as well. Now that the ICEHOGS season is over, it might behoove for us to bring up a big time hitter from Rockford with a 1 thought process to eliminate the problems that RENE BORQUE and a couple others have been bringing us since the outset of the series.

Kane needs to stay tough. Keenan will be sending his goons and cheap shot artists after him.

Now doubt Keenan will be sending guys after Kane and Havlat. Keenan was always a favorite coach of mine but his whining about the Hawks when his team has had more cheap shots makes him look bad. Rene Bourque never checked anybody when he was a Hawk now he's after Kane and when Kane didn't play the other night he used his stick with his 3 penalties. What a wuss, I hope Burish or someone flattens his arse tonight.
The Hawks will win this game!

If he had the flu why spread it to the whole team. Perhaps he could have sneezed on Iginla,Jokinen and Kiprosff to get them out.

Exactly right, playing hurt / sick will show your teammates your character too. Might have been an inspiration to them to see him playing knowing he was hurt.
