play 3 periods for crying out loud.
is that too much to ask!!!!!!!!!
the game is 60 minutes. play 60 minutes not 40 or 50. amazing how 3 goal and 2 goal leads in the 3rd become 1 goal losses. by the way tell DP to take the rest of the year off.

Yes, Okposo, 19 years of age and in his rookie season while currently being experimented with on his OFF wing with two over-the-hill but-all-the-team-can-attract-w ithout-a-new-facility veterans will single handedly lead the team back to glory. But only if the Islanders bring back Satan and sign Crosby or Malkin to play with him. Maybe also, bring back Czerkawski.
If you think Okposo is the answer I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you, or how about the Grand Canyon at a greatly reduced price. Try watching this guy play. He has the speed, but not the skill.

Sorry but Gordon doesn't lace them up. The players need to show some responsibility!! I was at this game and the isles were skating and playing hard for two periods. The guy that was sitting next to me was so PO'd at the Trashers after two. I told him don't worry we will make a game of it. The third period the isles were on their heals and running around the defensive zone like a bunch of mites!! Yes it was Pock's fault for the goal there was NO ONE between him and the goalie. You DO NOT stick your stick out in that situation. It was even a weak shot!!!
Ed, I realize Gordon doesn't lace them up but it's his job to direct and control the game through a thing called "coaching" and game management-
It's a cop-out to blame the melt-down on bad habits-

Hey Mike, you're absolutely correct,i see nothing from this kid so far, after 13 games he has racked up a total of 3 points, 1g,2assts., that may impress some of the rose colored glasses wearing newbies in here, but certainly not anyone who has followed the team, or hockey in general, they are the ones still drinking the kool aid poured out by Wang, and Snow, but they should smarten up and smell what these 2 are shoveling, and it aint very aromatic, also does anybody else see that most of time the other team scores, it seems that Gervais is on the ice,he is too damn soft, and they need more physicality back there.

i love how scott gordon was emphazing skating in the post game interview. i realize your team has good skaters such as okposo but skating is not the only thing that wins game. the isls have no one with skill (if the isles do have any skill players there almost 40 and just playing for their final pay day). the rangers have plenty of skill drury, gomez, dubinsky, zherdev, naslund, redden, henrik and more. the isles have the lowest payroll in the league, maybe they can sign sundin so the rangers cant because they dont need him

Hey champ,do you or anybody else remember when wang bought the team, and i think it was either the first season, or the second and there was a meeting between wang, the media, and the fans, someone asked wang something he didn't care to answer, and he told several fans to shut up,really a very nice way to start a relationship with the fanbase he needed then, and even more so now, with this inept, dysfunctional team that has been pieced together!

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aquarius

You're in a tricky position because someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about seems to be spouting complete nonsense instead. If this is an older friend or relative then you can simply smile politely and wait for them to rejoin the rest of us on Planet Earth. But if it's a boss or bureaucrat who's talking rubbish or giving you some puzzling orders, you'll be in a quandary about what to do.
