He did move when the Ref asked him to but like he said in his last 65 games he was never removed from his crease during a TV timeout but now all of a sudden when the Islanders are trying to make it into the playoffs they are going to make him move. A little bit of concidence, huh? And most goal tenders move the snow themselves out of the crease. It's just the Islanders being PATHETIC!

It is all bulls#!t the Girls don't even belon on the Ice (no offence to girls) but this man is in his house and he really shouldn't have to move just so some little hottie can shake her ass while cleaning the ice.. I wouldn't have moved either!!
As for the spitting! First off don't skate infront of the bench cuz the guys are spitting all game and second. whos to say that someone just didn't give her a little squirt with the watter bottle!!

Very sad that this has even been an issue.. I remember a time when the only thing they talked about hockey was HOCKEY!!

It's disturbing that this is a news story, but more disturbing that any player would resort to such incredulous behavior. The rulebook not only outlaws this behavior in general with other players, it outlaws players from making any physical contact with non-players, period. since there was no penalty assessed, lundqvist should be given a SMALL fine (but a fine/some form of punishment none-the-less)
whenever the next time it is that these two teams face each other - the Islanders better remember these events and stay true to the Code

And you just said it EXAGGERATED by the Islanders. And anyone who would believe that Henrik would do something like this must be an Islanders fan. It is not a rule that he has to move and when the Refs asked him he did. And I want to see all this on tape. I mean if it happened and it was as bad as the Islanders are trying to make it out to be why isn't it documented on tape and being played over and over and over again on TV because it is a bunch of BS that the Islanders blew out of proportion for publicity and to try to tarnish Henrik's reputation. All it really did was make them look even more pathetic than they already do. Why did it take 2 days to come out because they wanted to make sure everyone had the same story. Henrik is one of the classiest guys in the NHL, has never had a problem with anyone before but now all of sudden because some Ice Girl said "He did this" it is automatically true. But then again these are the same Islander fans that stuck up for what Chris Simon did.
-it's not on tv because it happened during a tv TIMEOUT - hence, there were no cameras focusing in on the situation. even "classy" players are guilty of classless actions from time-to-time.
